Does our keeper ever stop a shot which is not hit directly at him?

Bring Smallbone on and take Fraser off to have a positive impact in the game!
And happily walk around clapping the supporters instead of storming down the tunnel and waiting for the team to come in the dressing room for a prize bollocking. No wonder the team don't give a fcuk. If he's not angry why would they be worried?

Fcuk off Martin you're getting on my fcuking wick.

A tactically inflexible manager and a ‘keeper that doesn’t make any saves. It’s a toxic combination!

Once again we dominate the match, play some great football and then collapse. Very unfortunate to lose but once Ipswich equalised you could sense our heads drop in what was a 'must win' match. Like Saturday and many other games we controlled the game and looked solid but then fell apart. I thought the sending off was very harsh. I think there was a covering defender. We now coast to the play offs and rotate the squad I guess. WBA v Southampton looks nailed on now. Beaten them twice this season but counts for nothing now

Had enough chances but failed to convert them. Subs didn't really add anything.

Not too sure why KWP didn't start.

Wilcox announcement was an annoyance.

Well that was traumatic.

The only positive that can be derived from losing a game that we had total control of, is that we can stop hoping for automatic and instead settle for losing in the play offs!

As others have pointed out before despite some excellent play there is a real brittleness to this team and Saints always look like we are about to concede.

Entertaining game, Stuart Armstrong looked imperious at times, substituting him, Aribo and Frazier was akin to signing our death warrant in this game. Ultimately incredibly disappointing and doesn’t bode well for the Play Offs.

The Southampton curse, drawing or losing from winning positions. Had the record in the Premier League, must be right up there in the Championship!!!!

Promotion would be a nice culmination of this year's work. But we're too frail to survive in the Premier League. We need people who have more bottle and guile (starting with the manager).

The manager cost us that game tonight by not playing Walker-Peters our player of the season. They would not have got the first goal if he was on the pitch. We will never win anything with Stephens starting! The next problem was taking off Frazier, Aribo and Armstrong who where are 3 best players! Will this so called manager ever learn!!!!

The Swansea fans told us before a ball was kicked that Russell Martin was utterly useless and so it has been proven.

Generally acknowledged that our squad is the best and certainly the most expensive in the Championship yet we’ve dropped fourteen out of the last twenty four points available.

Fault lies squarely with the manager who has proven beyond all doubt that he is completely out of his depth. Tippy Tappy football with no plan B, ridiculous constant tinkering with the team selections and unfathomable substitutions have cost us automatic promotion. I’ve no doubt whatever that he will cost us the playoffs as well

Ipswich believe in attacking football, we don't.
Until we change this slow build up bollocks we're going nowhere.

Have no idea what Jack Stephens' role was tonight. He didn't appear to have a position, popping up absolutely everywhere with little effect most of the time which just meant we were short defensively when possession was lost.

Completely baffled why we didn't have a left back all game and we also went without a right back for the last 12 minutes whilst KWP and Manning sat on the bench.

Can't see us going up via playoffs if Leicester are in them too.

RM must think this is figure skating or ski jumping where you get extra points for artistic interpretation or technical merit or whatever. Yes we looked good for most of the match, got two good goals but that means nothing.

The words frail and brittle used by other posters say it perfectly. We leave ourselves too open at the back and when the crisis comes we simply fail to defend. Do they not discuss basic marking on the training field?

One of the reasons that we are able to look good is that we send too many people up the pitch. Even mediocre opposition knows that there will be oceans of space where out full-backs should be and looking at the table I would say that Ipswich are not mediocre.

Oh and a goalie who is always half a second too slow moving sideways doesn't help...

3.7 is very generous for the hapless Bazunu. He was the difference between the two teams. With an average Championship goalkeeper instead of Bazunu, who the stats show is the worst in the league by a country mile, we'd have won this game.
