I've had a weird feeling, based on no evidence or logic, that Dunne should be used as an emergency centre-forward when we're desperately chasing the game late on and launching balls forward.

I honestly believe that Jimmy Dunne could play CF and goalkeeper all at the same time.
Big goal kicks into the stratosphere, follow it up the field, chest down and volleying his own clearance into the top corner.
It would essentially enable us to play a 4-5-2 formation when pushing forward and overwhelm the opposition. I’ll be surprised if Marti isn’t already working on this. |  | | |
