Fantastic... having 3 girls where the middle one and the youngest one was pretty sporty .... youngest ran for Kent and played Netball for her uni .... it is a chest barrel moment.
Enjoy it and soak it all in... well done daughter and family

Congratulations to you and her mate. My daughters used to play against QPR girls and then QPR ladies fairly regularly....hard cheering goals against the hoops.

That's a lovely moment for all of you, Kingsbury.

I hope she enjoys every moment of it, makes great friends and learns and teaches every day.

I used to be involved on the ladies/girls side. Started up by Rangers fans and bless him Steve Bell. Club took over and at the time club employees and many Rangers fans running the teams.

I had season ticket holders playing in my teams, made team talks easy. Up there with the coolest thing I’ve ever done wearing Rangers gear coaching a Rangers team. It was us against the world. Fun times.

Embrace it Mr Kingsbury and all the best you your daughter. Get her to indoctrinate the team that it’s a privilege to play for the hoops.

Appreciate all the replies.

I'm more excited than she is!

She starts in August with a couple of games in pre-season. Looking forward to her wearing our beloved hoops for the first time!

Aren’t girls/women teams also based at Heston?

Congratulations - it must be an amazing feeling and it will be such a proud moment when she runs out in the kit for the first time. I hope she has a lot of fun and learns a lot along the way.

Congratulaions, I can absolutlely relate to that feeling - it is just great. My stepdaughter joined Austria Vienna last summer and plays for their U 16, she also had one game for the 2nd team, where she even kept a clean sheet which was great for a goalie. With the higher intensity in training and games it was a huge step up. So good luck to your daughter, hope she will enjoy the experience, thats the main thing!

I was over the moon when my youngest daughter joined a team playing in blue and white hoops.Unfortunately it was only Ipswich Valley Rangers and she plays in goal so no hooped shirt either.
Best of luck to your daughter Kingsbury.
