Dale request Lillis extension Thursday, 18th Nov 2010 17:14 by Col Dale have requested an extension to Josh Lillis's loan period with the club hoping to keep him at Spotland until the end of the season. However, Scunthorpe are a little hesitant about agreeing to the deal. Manager Ian Barraclough wants to speak to Lillis before agreeing to anything, and has insisted that he will demand a 24 hour recall on the deal. Scunthorpe were caught short after an injury to number one keeper Joe Murphy forced them to bring in Tony Warner on loan as they were unable to recall Lillis. Lillis has been a big hit at Spotland this season, and has won a number of plaudits for his performances over the season so far in which he has been an ever present for Dale. This is Lillis's second spell with Dale after a brief loan period during the 2009-10 Promotion campaign saw him make one appearance.
