Oh, how funny it has been seeing the liberal elites all throw tantrums over the election results here in the US. Americans do not like being told how to think, what to support or being labeled 'fascists' because they have a different view to the person assigning this label. Likewise Americans, by their very nature, are quite conservative. The whole transgender nonsense (allowing men into womens sports) did not sit well (as the election shows) with the silent majority all while the shameless left patted themselves on the back and continued to hide the obvious: Biden's mental capacities severely diminished. In the years following 2016 Americans did very well from the Trump presidency until COVID. If Trump is a 'fascist' then why did his share of the black community, Jewish community and Latino community soar? I did not vote for Trump (nor Harris) but can understand why a lot of people did. |

You utter, utter numpty Saint22. Did you not see the footage of the Asians all tooled up, balaclava wearing and out for a fight? Typical pathetic hand-wringing excuses in your response: really proving my point. And for the record, the far-right idiots and the far left idiots are more alike than you think. Dumb as and only looking for violence to further their cause. |
| Forum Reply | Little britain at 17:57 7 Aug 2024
@saint22 - while all violence should be deplored I noticed you only mentioned the right wing white lunatics. What about the a-holes in Birmingham that smashed up the pub and beat folks up? This is the problem with white, liberal, bleeding hearts. Too busy taking the knee and sympathizing with BLM/Palestine/insert liberal cause here to understand that the double standards that have been applied in the UK for far too long have caused resentment. Of course opportunists and some sections of the far right will take advantage of this and cause mayhem. But the same is true on the opposite side of the spectrum but that has been tolerated/encouraged for far too long and the recent anti-Semitism was not stamped out and this, in turn, will cause resentment from significant parts of the population. Too much immigration coupled with lack of integration is likely the cause of the current protesting/issues and the extremes on both sides (yes far left not just "far right" as media and politicians say exists whenever anyone does not bow to their liberal elitism) are fanning the flames of discontent. |

Like NYC Saint, I've been over here nearly 14 years. NFL, as he says, is great to have on in the background and can be a really exciting watch - unless you're a long suffering fan of the Redksins (aka Commanders). Superbowl is usually vastly overrated with crap HT performances and right now everything revolves around Taylor bloody Swift which is as annoying as can be. We'll be watching this evening and hoping the 49ers put the Mahomes/Kelce/Swift hype down |

Wow - can't agree with any of that. We have conceded 7 goals in 13 games now and you're claiming they are terrible? Crumbled - bloody hell, we are 21 unbeaten. When did we crumble? IN the second half where we did not concede? Lucky to get away with it - bloody hell! We had double the shots of Swansea and 5-0 at HT would have been a fair reflection. Their keeper was their best player by a country mile. We're 21 unbeaten, moved up to 2nd and yet it seems you're still not happy. |

And meanwhile, Man City with their 100+ charges continue on their merry way. THere is something very, very wrong with the Premisership |

I reckon I must be in the minority here. I actually enjoy our style of playing. Yes - it can be slow and ponderous but we are also mixing it up far more no and are breaking at speed when the opportunities arise. I love the way we play out from the back with Bazanu being immense with his feet. Very calm (yes it can sometimes go wrong) and running rings round the opposition. Under Ralph we would be entertaining for the first half until the players ran out of steam and then we'd get steamrollered. With a good striker to support A Armstrong (and not a permanently injured one or the completely useless Adams) |

WTF are you on about? Leeds beat Ipswich 4-0 so your comment is wrong from the get go. As to being "found out" Saints are clearly a very good team in this League and would have even more points if we did not have to put Adams in at CF |

MOan, moan, f**** moan. That's all anyone on here can seem to do: Meh, it's not fair we should buy <insert any random name here> so much better than we have. We never see any entertainment at St Marys, oh to see some goals. Boo, we should not be conceding 4 to Norwich, blah blah blah (self entitled feckers) Miserable bunch of feckers and glad I never had to be in the trenches with any of you. |

Love the Zombie Nation track - living in the US I very rarely get to see Saints games live any more but, unlike the last few seasons when we could not score goals, I can see that playing something rocking like Zombie Nation will get the whole stadium rocking. Lets remember that football is meant to be in the entertainment business - and that has been sorely lacking at St Marys for a number of years |

Dear god, what a miserable bunch of buggers! Martin will be good for us: he comes across well and he has a bunch of misfits playing some lovely football in a short space of time. A hugely entertaining game (and how often have Saints entertained the home crowd in the last 3-4 years?). With many fans there will never be any pleasing them. |
| Forum Reply | Bournemouth offer 13 million for Che Adams at 21:43 11 Aug 2023
Bite their hands off - I like Che but a quality striker he is not. Too many missed chances, works hard but lacking real quality. I really am not too bothered about us losing a good number of the players that have been underperforming (and with no heart/bottle) for the last couple of years. We need a reset and only by getting rid of the baggage can that happen. |

You forgot Malcolm Marshall, Chirs Smith, Robin Smith (OK it was just after....)......unbelievable days watching those teams. Opposition teams always knew they were in trouble if Greenidge started limping - all hell would then break loose! As for the original poster - baseball is utter s***e - so dull. Give me a good Test match or T20 over baseball any day of the week. |

Only one problem with your argument here Ron - Selles did not start with Saints until this season, he was not here last season! No-one could get a tune out of this lot of players - as has been seen. That being said I think Selles is too negative and his first thought is not to lose as opposed to wanting to win every game. |
| Forum Reply | Ruben at 01:17 21 May 2023
Because they failed under Hassenhuttl, they failed under Jones and have now failed under Selles. You telling me it was all the 3 managers fault? |
| Forum Reply | Ruben at 20:59 20 May 2023
I feel sorry for Selles - seems like a decent guy and could well have a decent career as a manager, just not at Saints. No-one - and I mean no-one - could get a tune out of the misfits we have collected. 3 managers this season have failed: at what point do people really have to look at the w*****s on the pitch? Selles has been too negative (no-one could disagree with that) but with dodgy keepers and back 4s some of that is understandable. That being said, trying to win games should be the priority, not trying not to lose |
| Forum Thread | How?....... at 21:56 1 Mar 2023
Have we ended up with a squad of 30 that is almost entirely s**t? How can we lose to Grimsby and wtf was Selles thinking? Has there been a lower point in our history (of course we were in administration and League 1 but I never doubted we would be OK) where there are no silver linings whatsoever. And I go back to the Lawrie Mac days (oh for those halcyon days and Nicholls exciting teams). We are an utter mess and an embarrassment. The majority of those players that played tonight should never pull on a Saints shirt again. And bringing on ballard at 86 minutes. WTF? Shameful |

Playing devils advocate, if the lad was frustrated at not seeing a path to the 1st team any time soon why not get paid 3 times as much at Chelsea? There is someone who obviously has inside knowledge that says Ballard and Doyle are also refusing to sign new contracts as they don;t see any pathway to the 1st team A good example is this pacy winger signed for a club record whereas Tella was farmed out on loan. |
| Forum Reply | How to win games at 01:48 23 Jan 2023
100% this - Adams is a complete embarrassment. He is shocking. For sure, we don;t create much either so it's not all on him. But frankly, what must it be like for the defence knowing they likely have to keep a clean sheet or we lose as we only have (for the last 2 years) only JWP who knows where the net is. |
