We need to juggle the wages, we need to get wages off the books to allow us room to be able to pay the wages of incoming players without going past our limit. We clearly have scope at the moment to get one in but the outgoings will free up more wages to bring a couple more in. We can't sign a player from abroad unless they have a WP until Jan 29th. |

Bids have been turned down about 3/4 days after they have gone in. I would suggest they are happy with the amounts but not how they are structured. It's either going to take a higher initial outlay or a higher fee in total down the line. |

Great news for Dan Edwards and fully deserved. He needs to be put in at 10, he will be around for another 10yrs. Lad has talent, great hands and isn't afraid to take and give a hit. The village of Cwmafan will be cheering loud in the local rugby club when he takes to the pitch. |

Burnley have bid for Morgan Whittaker. Hopefully this gets done and soon. |

He has Lloyd and Abdullah involved so younger players are having chances. I could argue that defensively one of the U21s should be involved but I would be naive to actually force it as Lissah is out injured as the others are nowhere near good enough. He has made the call on Ginnelly so I am happy with that, we need minutes under his belt. |

Have to agree, would have liked Nzingo and Wilson also on the bench. Might be trying to highlight the lack of depth. |

Yes, seen something familiar....think he suggested they were down the line with a few but nothing done and dusted at the time. |

Where did this come from? I asked about these stories in a few other posts but nothing. |

There is a lot of juggling going on and moving some players out on loan will open up things regards wages. Deals can be done with payments done done the line but wages scope regards to FFP are the issue. We have a certain one or 2 guys in the club with money and willing to spend but FFP is the hurdle. The Pedersen wage will make life a bit easier come the summer, we can shift some loans out to give us breathing space this month until the summer then that is the ideal scenario to bring some decent arrivals in. |

Haven't heard that but I had heard a few days ago that he was signing a new contract. |

So Kyrell Wilson signed a new contract, it's been in the pipeline for awhile so glad that got over the line. Keith, you could have done the story 24 hrs prior with the breaking news 😉 |

Sentiment has played a big part unfortunately. All 3 are out of contract so we really need to move on, if they are good around the place then maybe offer Joe and Kyle a coaching role at backroom staff wages. All 3 are considered squad players so we could be looking at getting 5 in to replace 3, one or two regular starters with a few younger players with potential. |

Another player to keep an eye on is Gabriel Silva of Santa Clara. Winger and Brazilian. |

So much will be used to cover the losses and X amount for squad strengthening etc. Come the summer, we will be losing Kristian Pedersen and his wages alone will allow to bring in 2 extra players to replace. Big decisions need to be made on Allen and Naughton, both on wages that need to be justified with players who are regulars in the starting 11.......if they want experience then it needs to be used on players aged 28-30 who still have plenty of gas in the tank and a good history of not being injured. |

Cullen and Cabango signed on with a real attempt to get Darling over the line but no joy to this point. I regards to new signings, we won't have an idea until the window closes, it's a tough window but they really need to make a statement of intent at the least. |

Being fair, Christie was signed before the change in ownership and investment that has changed this.window quite a bit. If the exchange of ownership was done in the summer then Christie wouldn't likely be here, Christie. Was brought in to serve a purpose to cover defence given. Pedersen was injured and Abbey wasn't filling the coaching staff with encouragement. |

Interesting to see that Plymouth and Oxford have broken their transfer records in this window already. Showing that teams are prepared to spend even ones who are in a relegation scrap. Plymouth signed Michael Baidoo which is a fantastic signing on paper. |

Had a good read up on Schumacher, he could be a good option as his record at Stoke wasn't as bad as I thought. 52% win rate at Plymouth. 40% win rate at Stoke. With Stoke 32 games 13 wins 6 draws 13 losses |
