Why 'should' I? Is there some kind of monopoly on how I'm allowed to feel? You're doing precisely what I just said pisses me off, so you must be on a wind-up.
I 'could' look at the so-called bigger picture and suppress my emotions, but I don't think you have the right to tell me I 'should' do whatever you feel is the correct way. [Post edited 12 Jan 9:41]

What pisses me off is people telling other people how they should feel. I am personally fking fuming at that abject performance that was entirely due to Marti's team selection. If other people don't give a shit, fair enough, but don't tell those of us who are angry that we shouldn't be.
For me, I want my team to win every game, and I believe we should treat the world's oldest and greatest cup competition with the respect it deserves. The relatively recent trend of playing weakened sides in the FA Cup is just another nail in football's coffin as far as I'm concerned. It's the equivalent of Wilde's famous phrase: knowing the price of everything and the value of nothing. |

I'd get resting players if we had a midweek match coming up, but we don't. A week till our next fixture. It's the same old shenanigans, playing an experimental team is not taking the cup seriously. |

I thought Marti was going to take this seriously? Edwards and JCS starting - never played together. Madsen, the weakest pound-for-pound player we have. Elbow's being called OTT but that's a weak team to play v the Foxes in my book.

Watched 'My Old Ass' with multigenerational audience of fam and friends over Xmas and everyone liked it. Thought it was going to be some Gen Z nonsense, turns out it was a funny, warm, feelgood movie... and all it starts with a mushroom trip. Plus it features the delectable Aubrey Plaza. |
