I am thinking of switching to Lib Dems from intended Labour. They have toned down the stop brexit policy that killed them last time and to go after him for the Post Office scandal when its obvious that others deliberately covered things up seem a bit desperate.

I have enjoyed his campaign and he has raised some awareness for the thousands of family carers out there.

Season Preview Revisited – Bottom Half

I honestly think so, our stats since Marti took over have us competing with the top half teams . Shrewd recruitment and keeping the manager gives us a great chance

I have looked , they are reporting the findings of a think tank . I haven’t looked to to see how they are funded and by who , but that almost always gives a guide to why they reach the conclusions that they have

It just appears that they are being held to account for the last 14 years unless it suits to ignore the first 4 or 5 ?

You are correct that although The Tories brought forward Gay Marriage legislation it was Blair that paved the way (Baz would contest that he is a Tory anyway )

The furlough scheme paid a higher % of salary for longer than any other European country .

I am not a cheerleader for the Tories , earlier in the thread I posted that I would be voting Labour. I just think you have to accept balance when it factual .

Child literacy, Furlough , Gay Marriage, increase in personal allowances(almost doubled ) until recently (although the Lib Dems drove that but you either include the coalition years or not ), Energy Bill grants last winter and the 2012 Olympic success and a big one for me Personal Pension reform. While recognising the complete disaster of Truss having 3 from the last 5 prime ministers either Women or Asian

I will try and stay up although I was looking at the accuracy of the exit polls and barring the rare exception they are very accurate these days, sometimes getting the numbers exactly right . Its just about the big beasts getting toppled after that .

I think transferring from renting to buying is the main problem .
Many renters pay more than a mortgage in rent and havnt got the headroom to save for a deposit .
By loaning a deposit and taking a rent record as ability to pay young people might make the jump easier.
We are not wealthy but have helped our boys by letting them come back and live almost rent free with us for a year or so to really hammer the deposit savings .

I doesnt seem right I agree .

What I think I mean is that if damage has been done it is not reversible or able to be meaningfully corrected and Nature will protect itself in the end

"I’m not denying climate change but I just have to laugh at people who think we can change what good old Mother Nature wishes to do with it."

I agree with this , Nature is far more powerful than mankind . It will either adapt as it has always done or it will protect itself by wiping us out . I dont really think we can change its course .

I may have mis heard but I thought he said the maximum levy would apply over 10 flight per year .
I am not wealthy but I have a son living and working in Zurich who still holds his ST and flies back for a few games a year and we go out for the Christmas markets . I have a seriously ill relative in Madrid who we visit every 2 or 3 months .One sunshine holiday in September .
That s few quid for just an ordinary family
