| News Comment | QPR slump to dead last after Pompey implosion – Report at 10:27:07
Bizarre that we used the word midgets in our pre match conflab in the Princess Vic. The Midfield is being outfought and outplayed if they were prepared to bare their teeth a little more then perhaps the defence wouldnt be put under so much pressure and we might produce a few more clear cut chances for our Striker(s)??? Too many looking unfit, unworthy or simply unsuitable. |
| News Comment | City surrender provides perfect summation of QPR's dire season - Report at 11:57:47
A “lap of appreciation†featuring all the stars of the year gone by saw Taylor Richards’ mum surpass her son’s pitch time at Loftus Road this season. Now that is priceless and very funny. Well done on putting it all in perspective whilst keeping us amused. |
| News Comment | Dude, where’s my football team? Report at 10:37:40
I wouldnt call it an enjoyable read Clive (no direspect) but a good report. The reflections on the senior players and how they have crashed and burnt is for me up there with the goalkeeping jinx that has befallen us. These are not exclusively the issues that have precipitated our demise but I beleive the main ones. Adomah, Johansen, Wallace and Austin have simply ran out of steam and losing Willock has killed our creativity. The team is now treating the football like a hot potato that nobody wants. |
| News Comment | Second half slump incurs Warbs’ wrath — Report at 09:36:42
"We’ve tried, partly through the manager’s preference and mainly financial necessity, to squeeze through the season with a small squad, reliant in key areas on older players like Albert Adomah and Lee Wallace doing big minutes, and that feels like a factor now too. Never the quickest team, we look really tired and slow relative to a lot of the sides we’re playing at the moment." Many valid points made Clive but none more so than this, aside from the Blackpool game we have lost our intensity, look laboured and the we have too many midfield players who refuse to move us up the pitch, Dickies marauding runs have been a big miss too. |
| News Comment | F-awesome Forest set QPR on road to ruin - Report at 07:57:13
A bin on fire! LOL Confidence has gone and the shape has gone too. To cut Manning some slack he must of played 90 minutes in virtually every game but with Wallace now suspended he wont get his much needed sabbatical any time soon. Too many occasions where Hall and Leistner stand looking at one another with that look that says 'where did he come from', whilst the ball is nestled in the back of the net. It feels like a number of players are just doing enough but not busting a gut, we need to start quicker at home, like we did away at Craven Cottage. Disappointed with the performance. Hump inducing! |
| News Comment | Forest flop leaves QPR nursing unwanted record - Report at 13:15:59
Firstly, thanks for the much needed injection of gallows humour, it is always a good antidote after a poor performance, of which there have been a few this season! I think Wells has previously been found out, he certainly started at on the front foot at Rangers but the fact Burnley have parted with Ings, Austin & Vokes over the last few seasons and yet they were happy to loan him out to us speaks volumes. I also felt that the Eustace omments were a succinct and accurate summary of where and what we are as a club right now. Insightful recruitment will be the key to our destiny next season. Glad to have three and half months sabbatical, to be quite honest. |
