Cooper and Dyche are the two best candidates available in my opinion. Both would play the high-intensity game that Herr Spors wants as well. |

Missing words again. I think you need to start writing 100 lines again, as you seem to be getting back into bad habits. |

Not sure about that. Despite keeping them up (even though he had Super Jack in the squad), Boscombe fans didn't like him as they found his football dull. Low-scoring games, getting plenty behind the ball, scraping results. Again, I think we could do a lot worse..... |

Second in the betting behind Rohl apparently. Could do worse. A Skate though...... |

Have been lucky enough to go to the last few derby games at Fratton. One incident I remember which typifies their absolute brainlessness was when we drew 1-1 there in the season we got promoted from the Championship first time round (2012?). We went 1-0 up in the second-half. About 10 minutes later, Danny Fox went to collect the ball to take a throw-in, and one of their fans decided to chuck the ball 30 yards away, wasting about 30 seconds of time which we were more than happy to waste. Sadly we didn't hang on to the lead, not through any intelligence of their fans though. |

There are a couple of key players who were instrumental in getting us promoted and who we are absolutely going to have to replace:- 1. KWP - one of the best players in the Championship last year 2. David Brooks - we have singularly failed to replace him through the whole of this season. He didn't score a huge amount of goals for us, but he was a class act and was the best player on the pitch by a mile in the play-off semi against West Brom at home. The likes of James Bree and Sam Edozie are fairly solid performers in the Championship, but are not of a sufficiently high quality to make the difference between play-off chasers and league winners. So we need to recruit, and for a change, recruit well. |

What does "we have to own the bad times" mean? Ultimately the club dictates fans' moods. If you have 9 months of abject failure, you're not going to get many people showing pride in that, whatever era it occurs in. Yeah, I leave games early if they're not going well. I'd rather get away and go home; I won't be in the mood for post-match debriefs in the pub I make absolutely no apologies for that. If it makes me a "follower" rather than a "fan" in the eyes of some, I really couldn't give two hoots. |

Gronbaek looks too slow for the Prem. But he might be alright next season if we keep him beyond the loan period. Wasn't it about £10 million to buy him outright though? We only seem to get duds from Rennes, whereas PSG's best player against Villa last week came from there..... |

First club to be tricked by somebody claiming to be related to George Weah. First club to have a chairman who was such a coont that even Reform chucked him out. First club to farcically appoint a former England rugby coach to the management team. I fear there could be a few of these…. |

The three CB's policy does my head in. Pretty much everyone in the Prem plays with one striker. You do not need three CB's to mark one striker; if anything it means they all leave it to each other. You need more bodies in midfield to get control of the ball and push up the pitch. Sigh. |

As I said on another thread yesterday..... Hassenhutl was great for the first two years; he had the team pressing high up the pitch, and he got a lot out of players like Redmond, Stephens and Ward-Prowse, who all improved under him. However, season 3 (coinciding with Rohl leaving??) and we stopped doing what had worked so well. We became slow and laborious on the ball and we didn't press up the pitch. The season started really well and we went top of the League, but ended on a real downer and you could see trouble looming. And then that summer we sold Ings and were reliant on Armstrong, Adams and Mara for goals. Hassenhutl lost his mojo, and probably needed a year or two out of the game to recharge his batteries and get rich in the meantime. Fair play to him for what he has done at Wolfsburg, but he was a busted flush at Saints. |

The standard of refereeing is generally abysmal, and I will maintain that their errors are responsible for VAR having been introduced. Which in itself is a sh1tshow of a system, which the refs hide behind. I genuinely don't think the refs are any better in the Prem than in the Championship. How sone of them got promoted to the Prem is a joke. And Anthony Taylor is supposed to be one of our best refs? Laughable. |

People will say that players are fitter now than they have ever been, and that the game has never been of a higher quality. I disagree. I don't think Liverpool are really that good; I don't think they would have lived with Ferguson's United team of the late 90's / early 00's, which had every attribute you would want from a top side. |
