Can't get to Wigan tomorrow so I am thinking about watching the game at a pub locally in Ruislip. Anyone else planning on watching the game at a boozer in the Ruislip area?
Went o the Wycombe v Exeter game today. To be fair Michael only played the last 15 minutes but did well when he came on. Jameie Cureton was playing for Exeter and got himself a straight red in the first half. Bruno Andrade played for Wycombe and is clearly a fan's favourite although he wasn't outstanding today. I just think that the young players need to play competitive football regardless of the division.
Just booked my tickets on East Coast. Cost me £123 for 1 adult and two children return. Leaving Kings X at 9am arriving Newcastle at 11.49. Then leaving Newcastle at 1758 and back at Kings X at 2052. Fingers crossed they don't change the date now!!
Have just picked my son up from his friends house and his friends dad said that he was just listening to TalkSport where they were suggesting that the current owners at QPR may be jumping ship. Did anyone hear what was said? Sounds like a load of rubbish but it does get a bit worrying
Thats my youngest son with the 'we r staying up' banner, which we took to Chelsea and Man City where the photo was taken. He is well chuffed about seeing it on the web site
I am taking the Piccadilly Line tomorrow to Earls Court. Previously I have changed to District Line and got off at Fulham Bdy. However if I walk from Earls Court to West Brompton does anyone know if I can then walk through that big cemetery and get out the other side next to the ground?
Just had a phone call from the club saying that my 11 year old son has been chosen to be a mascot against Ipswich a week tomorrow. He is a massive QPR fan and is so made up Please look out for him and give him a cheer. His name is Bradley.
Thought we more than held our own today and if we do reach the promised land next season then we should expect to beat teams like Blackburn if we want to stay there.
Thought the fans were pretty quiet for large spells but some funny songs aimed at the Blackburn yoof who positioned themselves right next to the QPR fans behind the goal (average age could not have been more tham 12).
Thought that t.wat Diouf was bang out of order leaning over Mackie who was clearly in pain and gesticulating before being ushered away by one of his team mates so then he decided to have a go at Orr.
PVM went close with one of the best free kicks you will see all season, just before the end of the first half. Had that gone in things may have been different. Also, Mackie had a decent shot cleared off the line and Gorkks rose above everyone in the second half to head a corner towards goal only to see it hit the bar. Two top drawer saves from Paddy in the first half and despite a few scares, he was never really called into real action after that. Good to see Cookie back in the action.
PLUS POINT - Bruno Andrade. I think he is only 17 but could easily be a big player in the next couple of seasons. He has all the ingredients to become a real talent.
Despite the reult not really disappointed to be honest as I felt we matched Blackburn throughout, but obviously the injury to Mackie overshadowed everything else.
