Worth watching Sam Field's role in the build up to our second goal. Busts a gut to get back, robs Willock, straight back up again to try and join the counter attack. I know it's his job, but I love his commitment. |

"I won't relax until we're mathematically safe", when only a ludicrous combination of results will see us relegated. "Turn your phone sideways and click refresh", when someone is only seeing half a screen |

Kaspars Gorkss - if memory serves, he left after we got promoted under Warnock. Surely would have been better than what we ended up with! |

Don't they normally wear boots for these? Something very odd looking about the trainers! |

Last night I dreamt it was the first game of the season. At Wolves (let's assume representing Watford) at a half empty Molineux. When I woke up, we were one nil up, Ilias had picked up the ball on the left, cut inside and curled a beauty into the far corner. We played some attractive football with plenty of cross field passes on show, a la that recent training video. Make of that what you will... |

Yep, massive thanks to you Northern. We are lucky to have you. I regularly find myself quoting you to anyone who will listen. Most recently the shooting dogs in Chernobyl at a 5 year olds party line - absolutely spot on! |

The other day it told me that something about my unusual activity 'indicated I might be a bot'. My activity? Buying QPR tickets. |

Beautiful and poignant, thanks so much for sharing it. Your dad almost going on the pitch after Charlie's West Brom winner had me laughing and crying all at once. U Rs. |

As a long time lurker and newish, and to be honest slightly nervous poster, I thought I'd share my thoughts on this. I'm mid thirties so never saw Stan play. I grew up watching footage of him and others in his era for hours on end on an old John Motson MoTD QPR video! I like the idea of naming a stand after him. It'd be a nice thing to do. But I haven't donated. Reading this thread, I'm asking myself why not. A few reasons I think: - Having watched some of the falling out over the campaign from afar, I don't feel like vindicating the way the campaign has been run. Donating feels like implicitly supporting the campaign over the club, and Lee Hoos in particular, who I think does a great job for our club. I think that's holding me back. - Ideally, if everyone was behind it, for 20kish I think the club would pay for something like this. But I can see why they haven't, since they're not convinced this is something the majority want. -Money's tight and there are other, and in my view more urgent causes to donate to. Overall, I've got no issue with the idea. I just haven't felt strongly enough about it to donate. [Post edited 9 Mar 2022 9:03]
