According to the commentator on the Roar’s match last night, Tom Waddingham was left out of the squad as he’s leaving - to Portsmouth apparently. No confirmation yet but we may have missed out. |

Just reading a preview of tonight’s Brisbane Roar game and it says this will likely be Tom Waddingham’s last game for the Roar as QPR have made a bid and there is also “interest” from Sheffield Wed and Boro. No mention of Bayern so maybe we will win the race after all. |

I’ve watched Tommy Waddingham many times as Brisbane Roar is my local team. He’s tall, strong, has the natural striker’s instinct that can’t be coached and his movement is good. Although he’s only 19 there are already clubs lining up for him not just us. Rumoured that Bayern and two other championship clubs are also tracking him. He has all the attributes to succeed but only if he goes to the right club to continue his development. He’d go well at ours I reckon and we’d have a saleable striker on our hands in a few seasons.
He’s a real trier and brings a good attitude as he seems mature for his age. |
