Strange opinion. If you look at the replays, there's no way that either were penalties; the forwards clearly purposely fell over Bedbarek's and Stephen's legs. Saints fan?
Saints have played well this half and you wonder why they didn't have the same attitude from the beginning. A great amount of possession but no penetration - Martin would have been proud. A Scottish phantom centre-forward enters the affray for Saints.⁸⁷
I don't think we're doing that badly - just backs against the wall and we're clearly outplayed by Spurs. We're absolutely no threat whatsoever. But what do you expect - we're a Championship team ( at best). I didn't think I'd be saying we're missing Onuachu and Downes but I'm not sure they'd have made much difference. Another 45 until it's all over and we can start preparing for next season.
As above, let's see what they can do. 4-4-2. Interesting to see Oniachu and Stewart on the bench. Any odds for Stewart coming on with ten minutes to go and scoring the winner?
That's football, we've been in a similar situation as have lots of other clubs with crappy owners but that's the crazy situation we live in today - excessive money is king so live by the sword , die by the sword. It may sound trite, considering, but all the best mate. Hopefully, we'll be playing you next season. Football will live on, even if the fans have to reform and own the club.
Palace take Wharton off for Devenny. Nketiah breaks brought down by Bednsrek who gets a yellow.. Eze makes hash of free kick. Onuachu injured goes off to standing ovation. Archer on. Sugawara on for Downes who played really well second half.
