Listened on Dale Player and got the impression that we were the better team with more chances but again were victims of four incidents of poor defending, the first being a goalkeeping error. The game could have easily been a 4-4 draw but we never sound like we can hold a lead away from home.
When we play top 7 teams like Eastleigh surely we need to ensure we have defensive cover particularly when McCallum is in their team. Ferguson would have seemed an obvious choice to-day.
Nonetheless I remain optimistic for a top 7 place, especially if we can add some goals from midfield. This league appears to be pretty even in terms of standard with no-one being outstanding although Forest Green are hitting their stride.
The next two games are important in terms of addressing this mini slump.
Henderson's situation is a puzzle but I would like to see the other fringe players given a chance. |

i wasn't there but sounds like a bad day at the office. Maybe a good wake up call for BJ and the players as this is theway that others will set up at the COA.
For me Burger should be starting all home games. |

Sounds like a great performance so well done BJ and the players. Gutted that I couldn't make it yesterday but bodes well for future home games.
Much of the Woking feedback seems to accept that we outclassed them.
Hope that this is the start of a winning run but we will be frustrated on occasions and will need to rely on our new team spirit to bounce back. If we are in the play off places at the end of September this sets the season up well.
Hope that we can stay relatively injury free and when EEL, Gilmour and Sassi are available will have a strong squad. Based on results to date we should fear no team in this division. |

Very disappointing result - an unnecessary defeat.
Strange selections and a poor start. Keeper should have done much better.
Not sure if McBride is ready and why was Hendo not used?
We need new blood in now. |

The predictions were very poor. He also queries the quality of our signings and misinterprets our likely formation.
Pre season results against EFL clubs were very encouraging but we are not yet the finished article in terms of a squad. Lets hope that BJ can add quality through astute loan signings in the next couple of weeks. |

Sounds and looks very encouraging for next weekend. Let's hope for a positive start!
Interesting to hear Karl Robinson post match playing the pre-season defeat down and saying that Salford could have been 2-0 up and were by far the better team in the second half ? Could be a long season for them. |

Surely there needs to be more urgency to get a settled defence before league points are at stake. It would be good to be competitive from the off.
Hopefully BJ has done his research has a plan in place and is waiting on responses from quality players in key positions. |
