| Your Report | Queens Park Rangers v Sunderland Your Report added at 18:06:33 You can all moan as much as you want about Ainsworth's tactics and no plan b etc. but the officials ruined that game once again today. It was a 50-50 challenge and if it had been the other way it would never have been given in our favour. Yeah Colback made a poor choice, maybe he was a touch over-hyped as it was Sunderland, who knows. Still thought we worked our socks off to stay in game and the equaliser was very unlucky and quite typical of how things go against us. Playing with 10 men is hard, there is no perfect plan for that. I would criticise Begovic who was very poor today, did not help our cause at all with his appalling kicking and decision making On to mid-week..... |
| Your Report | Middlesbrough v Queens Park Rangers Your Report added at 18:21:20 Great win and fully deserved. So many deserved MOTM, I can't split Dozzell and Smyth, thought both were outstanding today. Dozzells goal was a worldie. He's played so well over recent weeks, brilliant to see him shine. Boro like most of the teams we've played so far did not look great at all, expect Carrick to get sacked at some point soon. |
| Your Report | Southampton v Queens Park Rangers Your Report added at 17:56:11 How anyone rates that ref anything higher than a 1 is beyond me, made bizarre decisions throughout and at times was just making things up. We were unlucky, lacking that bit of quality in front of goal once again. However it's a marked improvement on where things were last season and indeed from the Watford game so hopefully things will start to go our way soon. |
| Your Report | Queens Park Rangers v Ipswich Town Your Report added at 18:24:02 Not a bad game overall, Rangers very unlucky, things may well have been different if Sinclair's first half effort had of gone in. Played some nice football at times and created chances. Tired a bit in the second half again but the subs don't look as bad as we all first thought. Ipswich are not that great and I can see them struggling eventually. |
| Your Report | Watford v Queens Park Rangers Your Report added at 17:23:30 Disgraceful performance, I wished I could give zero to the majority of the side. The two young subs SDM and Sinclair were our best players by far and were the only ones to give everything despite Ainsworth's deluded claims that all of the team had. I didn't think it could get any worse clearly I was wrong. |
| Your Report | Queens Park Rangers v Bristol City Your Report added at 06:43:05 End of season non-sense with a strange team selection given the type of game. We huffed and puffed a bit but Bristol did enough to win just by doing the basics, i.e. passing to each other, defending as a unit and hitting the target. I think our players actually ran into each other more times than we tested their goalkeeper directly. Our support was as usual first class especially at the start of game. Ref and officials as usual were very very poor. I got the impression from Gareth's post match comments he was not happy at all. Sigh....... |
| Your Report | Stoke City v Queens Park Rangers Your Report added at 08:16:15 Unlike the Burnley game where we were cut open several times in first half this week we looked much more of a solid defensive unit. Stoke hardly had a shot on target. Whole team worked their socks off for each other and we created the better chances, deserved the goal. Fans were quite simply outstanding, we must have one of the best away supports in this division in terms of loyalty and atmosphere they create. Loved Albert getting the winner after all the stick he gets on-line from who quite probably never even go to the game or make the effort to watch it. |
| Your Report | Queens Park Rangers v Norwich City Your Report added at 07:09:22 Much better than Saturday, could have been two up at half time and well on way to winning. Orangeeboom and Field as the middle two was a vast improvement. Lowe, Drewe and Dunne looked exposed at times down the right, Lowe in particular needed to track back and work harder to protect his full-back. We should of had a penalty and Norwich should of had a player sent off after what can only be described as a two footed assault on Drewe resulted in nothing at all from the officials who all had an awful night. Struggled for parts of second half and no surprise the equaliser came from our right although Dieng was shambolic again in gifting ball to Norwich in front of an open goal. We tired a bit but still had some chances to win. Overall a lively encounter with a draw probably a fair result. Couple of points to note - Keith Stroud is appalling as a Ref, I have no idea how this man has the audacity to turn up and officiate at games. He got all the big calls totally wrong even though he was well placed to view them. Chair has lost the ability to take a set piece, at least four corners he sent way too deep and out of play, two free kicks in good positions he hit straight at the first man. Adomah coming on for Lowe was the right call, there is no way you could put Willock in front of Drewe after his shite performance on Saturday where he started Coventry's move for the second goal. Only club Willock seems to want to perform for is a Saturday night one with a decent VIP area. |
| Your Report | Queens Park Rangers v Watford Your Report added at 08:38:23 Lively encounter and enjoyable to watch, world away from the dross of recent months. Game was played at a high tempo from the off and that never really let up. The atmosphere was electric and the fans were superb given what's gone on this season. GA changed the team set up and shape to what of us had been asking for for sometime, moving Field into a back 3 was potentially quite a risk considering his last run out there away at Forest many moons ago was a bit of a disaster, but Field has grown so much as a player since then and it worked very well. The huge gaps in our back line and midfield were no longer there, Rob Dickie looked like a big hairy monkey had been removed from his back and all of a sudden we had a defence again. We played with passion, desire and drive, every player put a shift in and it was wonderful to see the two young wing backs Drewe and Kakay play so well going forward and defending. At times in the first half I thought we were going to over run a Watford side that simply was not ready for our pressing and determination, for all their pretty football they could not handle the direct fast style we bought to the game. There was a period in the second half where they had some decent possession for a while but they never really threatened our goal and we always looked dangerous on the counter attack. So good to see Lyndon back and he did what he always does, worked his arse off, we've really missed him. Can't fault any of them for that performance, for me Chris Martin was brilliant, led by example as Captain, him and Dykes together terrorised the Watford back line and at times he was a complete bastard which is exactly what we need. I'm actually looking forward to Blackpool now. |
| Your Report | Rotherham United v Queens Park Rangers Your Report added at 12:56:38 As expected a poor game all round. We created some chances which was an improvement but our defending is just so appalling it beggars belief and its not helped by the fact we basically have no midfield whatsoever. Hugill made a nuisance of himself from the word go and if you didn't stick a tenner on him to score you need mental health advice. Positives were some of the younger lads showing promise, Drewe, Kakay and Richards. Everything else was just as bad as previous weeks, at this point I'm wondering if we can play some of the Women in place of Dickie and Dunne? We look like we are relegated already. |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 19:56:19 Tough game, defended like wallies in first half but i still think we were better side overall, expected more from Cardiff actually think they are quite an average side and if we were on top form we would have won easily. That said well happy with the point, a lot more so than Mr Miserable Jones who was obviously watching a different game. Second half we looked good value and should have nicked it at the end, Helguson misses a sitter no surprise there really. Support from the R's fans was awesome today, at times they were outsinging the home lot who were mainly just hurling abuse all game. Well done guys great result and the right one. |
