There are choices in life..... 22:52 - Oct 23 with 2437 views | jajadale | I personally don't like watching Coronation Street, so if it happens to be on I turn over and decide not to watch it. If you don't enjoy watching Rochdale and end up spending 111 minutes constantly moaning, DO NOT GO! You are not legally obliged to pay £15 to spend your Tuesday night at Spotland. This is aimed at the half a dozen middle aged men stood in the Sandy just to the right of the goal, particularly the pissed clown with the glasses and Fila jacket (you know who you are.) Yes, you are entitled to your opinion, and yes, the standard of football we are watching is below the standard we expect, but at times the abuse aimed at our own players, the ones we are supposed to be SUPPORTING was ridiculous. I advise you to stay away otherwise you may end up searching the internet for the best ways to tie a noose, such is the apparent dislike for all things Coleman, Cavanagh and Scousers.

It is so tempting TL to just grip one of them by the throat but they are not worth the ban that would follow.

If you expect nowt you are never let down, unfortunately (or fortunately in my mind) we had Keith HIll and since then most fans expect that, or near that. 6th in L2 under Begara or Parkin was ace. Pre Hill of course. We would have creamed ourselves if we'd have signed a Dele Adebola player back then, top level player, puts in a shift every game at the age of 37, not been injured etc i.e. a footballer of far higher standard who still gives a... There are choices in life..... on 01:19 - Oct 24 with 2269 views | BeefCurtain | They're not the only ones sadly. There's also a group on the other side that absolute detest Cavanagh and pretty much condemn every single thing he does. The guy in the Fila jacket with glasses looks like he's gonna have a heart attack soon...he's always as red as a beetroot and shouting his head off. The part which worries me the most is that I don't think they'll ever be content with what they're watching, our league position or the way we play football. For example, if Cavanagh was to never play again then they'd just target someone/something else - it's people like these that we really don't need.

the bizarre thing is that most expectations for this season had us finishing way below where we currently lie. There is no doubting that this feeling of disconnectedness is very much real, and there's a thousand possible reasons behind it, but there can be few if any supporters to whom sixth is underachieving.

Spot on, expectations were shocking I for one expected tenth to sixteenth and we still might finish there but we are doing better but it seems some fans post hill have expectations beyond reality either that or they just enjoy being moaning gits

There are choices in life..... on 09:12 - Oct 24 with 2124 views | D_Dale | There were runs of poor results under Hill, but he not only managed to turn things around, he also managed some sublime performances. Coleman disappointed in that he failed to keep Dale in L1. But so far he's done better than the other three sides relegated at the end of last season: Exeter 11th, Chesterfield 13th, Wycombe 22nd.
