What disappoints me this season above everything else 22:24 - Mar 25 with 1438 viewscarrotcrunch_R

Is our own fans after all our club has been through we produced a miracle and finally made it back to the prem we should have been celebrating this season having a party and what have ya because in reality from what has happened to us in the past it is an incredible achievement to be in a situation that we are in now. In stead we as fans are always looking to have a go at someone I think scapegoats have become like a drug to some of our fans blame the management blame the chairman blame swp blame Barton blame cisse blame diakte blame kenny has anyone taken a step back and think how lucky we are too have big name players hear once more we got stability and backing from a chairman and all he hears is you lot being miserable we are not going to achieve anything by pressurising the chairman to sack manager after manager player after player. We are lucky to have a season in this league let's enjoy the rest of it and who knows we may get lucky again if not so be it just enjoy whilst we can FFs and stop frigging moaning if we lose it's cos the team lost not because of one person.

The days of supporting a team regardless are gone. It costs alot of money now to follow your team. The players can't have it both ways. You can't command big wages which push the price of tickets up and not expect stick when you are not performing. No one enjoys having a go at the players, we would much rather not be facing relegation and in turn sing the players praises. We are frustrated that we've spent so much money and are struggling yet the other two promoted sides have not spent half as much and have virtually secured their status in the Premiership for another season.

Rangers fans know what it's like to fall out of the Premier League, we know the misery it can bring, in particular if you have average players on long healthy contracts. We are the mugs that will have to pick up the pieces whilst the players pick up their huge wages which will be sucking the life out of the club. I hope that we can shift the high earners if we go down.

God only knows what Fernandes must be thinking. I don't care what Phil Beard says. relegation will push the club backwards and cost Fernandes a fortune.

i guess everyone is in the firing line because

TF and the board ===sacked the guy that produced that miracle

hughes=== because he came with a decent record and has totally failed to inspire this team

barton=== because he hasent lived up to his own hype= england player!

swp ferdinand young diakite cisse bothyrod campbell onuha tawino gabbidon zamora and anyone else i forgot bought === for the most part being little better then what we already had

bottom line is we gambled spent a heck of a lot and achived very little sure we would almost certainly have been religated with our championship team but we could have spent that money on good young players and made ourselves the very best championship team next season if required

instead we have a manager whos almost certain to have failed and has no experience of championship and thats if he stays
and a group of players who will either want to leave or just stay for their wages and may well continue to perform poorly

Listen to the band play!
Poll: How much will you pay for adult season ticket next season if in championship

Are they? I thought that's what it was all about. I've been a right mug over the last 15 years then

.. and what isappoints me this season above everything else is that instead of building upon our success we've chucked it away. Our new owners promised us stability and more realistic ticket prices, what we got was the manager who brought us up sacked in the middle of a transfer window and FA cup prices thta meant we couldn't even sell out against Chelsea at home!!

Coupled with that we've got big name, big wage signings that are no better and possibly worse that the players we came up with and when we go down, which let's face it is almost a certainty now, we'll have a worse team (after the mercenary rats have left the ship) a worse manager (nobody can deny Warnock is the best option in the Championship) and most likely bigger debts than last season.

You dont hear me complaining at all......

Hang on, the Carlsberg takes of dirty socks.

Can we change it to a proper lager please?

That'll keep me happy!

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!

What disappoints me is we have a 25 man squad and some of the names in it are just names who have not performed on the pitch and are not fit to wear the hoops.

a lot of what has been said is true and right but for many qpr
we didn't want to gamble, we wanted stability and where is that?
accounts show total debts =£55m yet phil beard says we are debt free, HOW?
even if loans from board, we'll have to pay it off one day unless they've written it off, yet no news.
long contracts on large wages and no get out clauses..ho ho ho recipe for trouble there??
i think this financial stuff is the worry not what lge we are in...
THE TALK OF NEW GROUNDS MAY NOT OF HELPED OR WAS IT A DIVERSION?
it'd be cheaper to buy the ellerslie road homes and develop that end...may get another 4-5000 in a 2 tier cantilever stand?

as for 25 man squad...why is smith named if never used!

"No one enjoys having a go at the players"

I dunno, there are some people who sit round me for whom it is their raison d'etre

I completely agree all the johnny come latelys recently aboard the bandwagon seem to have forgotten everything pre warnock and as a result our supporters have turned into what we previously despised i.e Wolves supporters baying for blood at the 1st hint of a misplaced pass. It may not be a coincidence that the players confidence is shot given the abuse they get week in week out.

They seem to love to have someone to boo I bet bothroyds happy cos at least he is now out of the firing line with Barton SWP taking the bullets.

Completely disagree!

Just because we've been rubbish in the (near) past, doesn't mean we should accept this tripe from the best paid team of players in QPR's history...

I don't expect these players to have our passion and commitment to the club, but i do expect them to do their job professionally and almost every player is performing well below their capabilities.

Carrotcrunch - I assume you weren't at Sunderland or Bolton or Blackburn...

I never boo and actually I am grateful to Briatore for effectively saving the club. There was a bit of me that almost said so what if he wanted to try and interfere in team selection - without him there would be no team.

I don't go every week but the 15/20 games or so I attend each year included Huddersfield when we went down, Tranmere, Chesterfield, Hartelpool and many other places.

I supported Warnock and delighted in the promotion to the Premiership. I never moaned about him and even at the end when a number on this MB wanted his blood, my view was to stick with him.

I'm delighted Fernades is at the club although the (alleged) fall out over whether Yakubu would have been a good buy or not now looks even more farcical given the Cisse saga.

That said I have supported Hughes unreservedly since his appointment.

I like many have been really pleased at the signings we have made this season. Barton, SWP, Ferdinand et al all promised much to me.

So I think I can be forgiven for being critical of the abject, spineless, passionless performance that was dished out at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

I have watched some really poor Rangers sides where only a bit of passion and team spirit has held it together. When you look at the team sheet Saturday and then try to reconcile that with the team's performance it just makes you weep...

Hang on a minute. The players weren't slated because the were performing well. The shit performances preceded and fans abuse so don't blame the fans for the teams current predicament. Quite simple, do well and get results and you will get a "well done". Don't do well and you'll face criticism. Just like any walk of life really.

Scapegoats???!!!

Hell's teeth my friend, Briatore and Ecclestone have fcuked us right up the arse if you'll pardon my language.

It's precisely because we've gone through so much to get here that makes it so painfully frustrating to see any hope of surviving cheated away from us by that pair of tw@ts and Bob fcuking Pollock (and indiscipline of course). Enjoy this season? I've never enjoyed anything less. I want to hit something or smash something all the time.

I think the Rs fans have been ok under the most unfortunate set of circumstances imaginable. You couldn't make this sh!t up. I feel we are, for once, entitled to be bluudy annoyed and have a whinge. To expect us to smile through this is asking an awful lot imo.

I agree it ranks as the most dissapointing season ever. What I would say is that I've yet to see one of our own players play better when they are being booed and heckled. I understand the frustration but if anyone thinks it is doing anything other than make things worse is deluded.

The most disappointing Season ever? No I don't think so. Getting relegated to League 2 (or whatever it was called) back in 2001 were pretty damn shit.

I would say this is more a case of being the most frustrating season ever as it looks like we've missed a big opportunity to establish ourselves as a Premier league team again.
