No idea, it's impossible to estimate, but millions of tons of methane got released and caused energy bills to rise and lot's of ppl in Europe to get very cold.

Drones can't shoot down am aircraft. All evidence points to a Russian anti aircrafts missile like the one that shot down the Malaysian airline over the occupied part of Ukraine a few years ago. That one was confirmed by the accident investigation team as well as a court of law in the Netherlands. | |

If it was an air defence missile it would have been blown to pieces with no survivors. There were pics of bullet sized holes in the fuselage,which would have been consistent with a drones machine gun. Ukranian drones were known to have been operating in the area. Air traffic control, radars etc would have known there was a passenger airline on course, Military drone operators maybe not.

A Dutch court ruled that Russia was in control of the separatist forces, the Buk had been transported from Russia that day.
