Biggest Club in the World vs QPR Match Thread 15:37 - Nov 6 with 36372 viewsMonkey_Roots

When we knocked them over last season, I was round my mate's house, who is a HUGE Leeds fan, and has a HUGE mouth to go with it - they were going up, we were tin pot, couldn't wait etc etc

I took a picture of him after each goal

1st picture, the facial expression was a bit like 'that's weird, they've scored'
2nd picture was more like 'oh feck'
3rd picture was the middle finger
4th picture just had a blanket over his head

It was one of the best days of my life.

Leeds 2-0

Every game is just about hanging on from grim death. It is what it is and won’t change until we have a fully fit squad, which is months away.

Will also need significant reinforcements in January, but by then we will need a miracle.

Ooh……we almost got past the halfway line there.

Ashby is a shocking player. That free header they just had. F***, he is a defender!

Soon as their awful goal went in I closed all the browser windows and went and played my bass guitar for the rest of the first half - just can't do it to myself so soon after Tuesday night.

Will give the 2nd half a go, but if it gets to 0-2 then its back to the bass.

Just cannot have another season of this anymore.

Brilliant!. I've just started to learn the bass guitar myself. The only thing i can play on it 'is walking on the moon ' by the police!

The Duke Of New York. A-Number One.

I don't think we can keep Morgan on here

I feel your pain, A40. I’ve decided to go with Gilles Peterson’s Quincy Jones tribute for some piece of mind. Will doubtless check in for 2nd half updates to bring myself down again though.

I have no idea what our tactics are supposed to be. We're just so glacially slow when we get the ball. And even worse when Leeds have it

Absolutely. Aohora is 22 and can't get on. What is the point of having him?

Jimmy's passes are always, always just half a yard too short, too long or too slow. Its a small thing but its frustrating. His target always has to break stride, or pause, its never just in the flow and it delays our counterattack (when we have one). Its little things like that which can make a difference

Ashby has been a waste of a loan, would rather have kept Kakay who was bang average but always gave 100% and cared.
The decision to use our loan budget on Ashby and not Hayden was a shocker.

Well done Nourray a master stroke by our leader.

My God, a half decent cross from Smyth. Albeit straight to their keeper and with no Rangers player within 10 yards of it

We're going down because we have so many poor players - Smyth there has a chance to cross but sends it straight to their keeper. Just not good enough at this level.

Does Smyth actually practise crossing into the goalkeeper's hands in training? He's so good at it.

Why does Smyth cross straight to the keeper?

Can anyone explain to me why the Leeds player didn’t get booked when purposefully taking down our player stopping a break

Then we get booked two seconds later… yes the challenge was tougher but our player went for the ball at least

Refs have lost it

Absolute masterclass from Rangers there - from our attacking free kick to nearly conceding a goal within, what, 5 seconds?

Get Andersen off ffs. They nearly scored there because of his awful free-kick.

I think the fact is that, despite not being great themselves, Begovic, Dykes, Armstrong, Willock and Hayden were still all streets ahead of the players we have replaced them with. This team is awful, and is still likely to be awful when some of the injured return. Without 5 or 6 new players of good, proven Championship standard, I just can't see how we're avoiding the drop this season. It's beyond woeful

It's inexplicable, and looks like another ref who's pre-paid!

Brave Nardi there.

OK 30 mins to go and we're still in it (score line wise).

F**ck it, just go for it now you bunch of pansies.

Smythe does what Smythe does. With no injuries then he is on the bench.

Nardi the only one that managed to read the situation and save us conceding a second. Gets a knock to the chops for his troubles

Seriously, if you think Cook can't be arsed then I've been watching a different Cook all season. He got a massive whack on Tuesday and played on, as ever. If anyone deserves some slack it's him.
[Post edited 9 Nov 16:00]

Did I say all season?

Much bigger problems than Cook of course . I’m not an idiot .
But when your captain can’t break into a sprint and Sam Field runs passed him to mop up , one of the slowest players in the division , it can’t of excavates my point .

That if he looks to have thrown in the towel , and by the way his body language on Tuesday was very poor too, then there truly is no hope .
