Can't agree with your comments regarding Adam Armstrong never letting us down.
I think he regularly let's us down by making wrong decisions & missing more than he scores. |
He got us up last season and every striker misses more than he scores.
Erling Haaland has got 11 goals this season, one of them was a penalty.
So to get his other 10 goals he had 48 attempts on goal of which he missed 8 big chances.
Adam Armstrong has only 1 goal, but he has only had 12 attempts on goal he has hit the woodwork once and missed 2 big chances
Of course Haaland is heads above the rest of the league but he gets his goals handed to him on a plate, if Armstrong had 48 chances this season he would have netted about 4 goals now which would be a reasonable total | |
