Well the question was, will RM change things today?, and to his credit he did. The team looked more balanced, quicker and with more forward movement...and less stupid passing at the back ( but still too much for my liking). Ramsgate mixed it up and kicked some nice longer passes, and until the penalty we were the better side with some good chances.
Not being able to convert those chances is our achillies heal, and he needs to find someone who can put it in the net. Maybe Stewart will come good, but I'd put Diaz in the middle and give him some service.
We lost it after that penalty miss, but at last RM seems to be responding.

What you have to bear in mind is that if it hadn't been for Ramsdale we could well have lost 7-0, so it wasn't very different from that 9-0 defeat at Old Trafford.

Looking good in the first 20 minutes of a game means nothing if you don't score. We did the same at Newcastle. The top teams let newly promoted teams tire themselves out early on then destroy them later on in the game. The same thing happened in Ipswich's first home game with Liverpool.

Poll: Who will win the Premier League this season?

I agree Ramsdale saved us from a complete mauling, but that first 30 minutes was the best I've seen this season, which RM has to build on ...very quickly. If we can't beat Ipswich we really are in trouble.
