Im a bit surprised how quickly the pitch folk mob is assembling. Its 3 games into the season ffs. Im not a big fan and was critical at times last season of the tippy tappy stuff. However he turned it round last season so trust the process :-)

Don’t believe RM is coaching our players to ‘fail’ per se, but to continue with the same approach is madness. Surely good managers can ‘adapt’ and that will determine if Rylan is still in a job over the next few months. |  |

No doubt there will be some who say that Big Sam is a dinosaur who doesn't understand the latest trendy thing that Pep has just invented, but he is no fool. He knows a thing or 2 about how to keep a struggling club in the PL and how not to give away stupid goals.
As he says in the full video "Man City can play it all day because they're great at it" but other sides should realise that there is more than one way to play. Indeed.

The thing SA, RM and most of the Players have in common is the fear of doing something wrong which will mean losing. Whether that be playing 7 at the back and using the long ball to a bully of a centre forward, refusing to hump the ball into row ZZ but to try and play "simple" passes to a team mate who may or may not be marked, or being to scared to make that dribble or pass to create a match winning situation. Charlie Alcaras had that bravery and that got him loaned then sold... We Saints fans have always loved being the underdog and would rather lose 5-4 trying to win that 1/2/3 nil trying not to lose, IMHO. |  | | |
