He's the only midfielder we have who takes players on and tries to run into the box, (apart from Dibling). He quite often gets dispossessed though which is why RM doesn’t want him, but he causes mayhem when he gets on the ball and creates panic in the oppos defence.

A wasted opportunity. Flamengo have got a couple of players who'd be really good for us, but Victor Hugo isn't one of them.
The Turkish Süper Lig is awash with Brazilian players who wouldn't get work permits to play in this country. Victor Hugo will just be another one. [Post edited 23 Aug 11:47]

I’m sad to see him go but he just didn’t fit in. He wanted to attack and get on with it. I think he will do well for them.
