People like football as a form of entertainment, tonight was entertaining for everyone who was there. I didn’t see many people leaving despite it being so one sided.
Fair play to Saints for putting such a strong side out on both halves.
It also got Eastleigh a few quid and hopefully introduced some local Saints fans to another club they can watch football at when Saints aren’t playing. There were also loads of kids and families there who would have been had a good time and hopefully won’t be seduced to ‘supporting’ ne of the slimes six and will hopefully go onto support Saints or as a long shot, Eastleigh.
