So, are we going to have one, or even two next season?

Poll: Is Southampton FC a big club. Where do they rank?

Probably.

Certainly. You can marvel at our triangle passes, 80% possession and static forward players watching said triangle passes at the back. F**k knows what style of football Portsmouth play, but you won't do triangle passes like we do, fact.

It could be that your superb passing game could prevail against Norwich/ West Brom and then Leeds/ Ipswich providing the defence can tighten up over two games. Is that likely?

The only good thing about not being promoted is that we get to play the skates. Love Saints v Skates games. Very special atmosphere.

Agreed and to be honest, I would rather play our neighbours than Liverpool, though I doubt the feeling is reciprocated.

This seems to happen more often than not as well. Any reason for clearing off early?

'This seems to happen more often than not as well'.
Has done at your gaff the previous 11 years in Div3, you tell us.

'Any reason for clearing off early?'
What's the point having a players lap of appreciation after the second from last home game of the season?

https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/portsmouth-fc/pompey-fans-are-being-

Yous down Southsea common for the Div3 celebrations?
Shame no open top bus parade, but have a nice day, hope the rain stops for you.

What's the point of a "lap of honour" before the last home game of the season when there's still a lot to play for?

Personally I didn't bother staying because the season isn't over, we've got another game probably on Friday 17th that's the biggest of our season.

Skate Fan here...............

I'd rather be playing Saints than Liverpool all day long. I don't care what league we are in, as long as its the same league. The fact we have only had 39 south coast derbies, I think, is a real shame. As someone posted its a special atmosphere, that IMO we are all missing out on.

It's a unique derby that people outside the area just don't get. If you don't go up, there will be personnel on both sides that will be learning what it's all about and if they think it's just another local rivalry, then they are in for a rude awakening

Just go an ask Bournemouth or Plymouth fans. Both of them are trying to manifest some kind of rivalry/derby...............Dockyard derby..........WTF...........do one, there is only one south coast derby and ever will be

I'll ask you this, when the fixture list comes out what 2 games will you look out for first? Opening game, Boxing Day, New Years Day, Last Game of the season or Pompey Vs Saints home and away?

I means everything to us, if you win you give it out, if you lose you have to take it, go away lick you wounds and wait for the next one.

It's ours, it's special always will be...............bring it on

I meant us not you, we've still got another game Friday week, pointless doing a lap after Stoke game, they should have cancelled it.
