Got to feel for him

Of course he's worried.

But what good would it do anyone if he'd voiced that. Going all woe is me never helps anyone get out of a difficult place. He has to do exactly as he did: acknowledge how bad the situation is; not call anyone in particular out publicly,; and, be clear that a lot of work needs to go into turning things round.

If I were one of the players, I'd know he expected a huge lot better from me, he wasn't going to shame me publicly but he has a plan to sort it out. He couldn't have done anything more than that.

He didn't need to say he wasn't worried at all.

Not sure what you mean here with the double negative. But if you mean he didn't need to say he was worried (as it's obvious he would be), then why did you in your first post say, 'staggered he's not worried'. Unless you meant, 'I'd be staggered if he wasn't worried' (i.e. you imagine he would be worried but is just not showing it, in which case my post agrees with you).

He was asked the question are you worried about getting relegated so he answered it

He's in a complete no win situation with a post match after that result.

There are no words.

You have to see the QPiRony in him having managed Wycombe for 10 years and yet in his 4th game as Rangers manager he's just recorded his worst ever result as a manager!

Yep, we're back here again.

If you don't want to get (even more) upset after a defeat don't listen to the post match interviews!

Of course he's worried, but he'd be stupid to say so.

Well it IS one result and after Saturday still think we 'only' need 4 points, which from 9 games still seems eminently do able to me.

Which is an impossible question to answer without a reaction on social media and on here.

This is a great post but I fear you will get a bit of abuse there Damo1962.
Dieng has made some superb saves this year but he has made some pretty bad mistakes that have really cost us .
I always felt he was pretty cocky and arrogant but you have to be confident to play in net .
Watching the slternate angle from the Watford game he did not appear to be joining in the euphoria until Dunne jumped on his back.
If Ainsworth wants to show he means business this Saturday he might consider starting Archer over Dieng and see what happens .

Why thank you Clareman1995. I've been around messge- boards long enough to grow a thick skin 😉. As for Seny, I don't think he will, or should be dropped, given the alternatives. But he needs to change his attitude to games at the moment. Like a lot of these players, he has been found out...and is not as good as he thinks he is.

As I said a fortnight or so back, you may as well stop listening to these. He’s outside a transfer window so he can’t change the personnel, he and we saw what happened when Critchley called these horrible fcking twts out publicly for what they are, so he’s clearly just going to sit there and blow smoke up their arse in the hope we can crawl through to the end of the season. He absolutely does not believe what he’s saying, clearly already so furious he’s letting “I’ve learned a lot about them tonight” creep through the act. They scored so many last night I forget which it was but after the 5th or the 6th I genuinely thought he was going to go on and chin somebody, absolutely livid. He’ll want rid of as many of these as possible this summer.

Maybe the sixth? If you're trying to give a worst goal of the night award - punt from the goalkeeper, CB misses his header, ball bounces through the rest of the static defence to the unmarked striker.

Sub Sunday league that was.

Poll: How old is everyone on here?

He may not think we will go down so not worried but he should be worried about his position. He will last as long as Critchley with this group of players. Let's hope he is still here to get rid of the wasters in the summer.

I think we know from experience how that’ll go, GA will want them out the door, whilst LF will be handing them out 2 and 4 year contracts.

Can’t wait to see what happens with ‘Niko’ Richards or whatever his name is.

Obviously no one likes a drubbing and I'd be lying if I said that didn't sting. However, it's still worth only 3 points. My only minor concern about yesterday is that losing the 6 pointers narrows the gap to the drop zone and our goal difference is now too shocking to rely on.

That being said, I didn't get over excited when we won on Saturday so I'll not get too down on last night. Realistically the target is survival by any means necessary, then Ainsworth can start rebuilding in the summer. The upcoming games against Birmingham and Wigan now look pretty crucial to our chances.

Decided to save us all some time and just asked chatGPT

"apologize for qpr performance in voice of gareth ainsworth"

Hello everyone, I just wanted to take a moment to apologize for QPR's performance in our recent match against Blackpool. As a former player and a lifelong supporter of the club, I know how disappointing it can be to lose in such a manner. We know that our fans expect better from us, and we let them down.

We're a proud club with a great history, and we always strive to do our best. Unfortunately, on the day, things just didn't go our way. We made some mistakes, and Blackpool took full advantage of them. We know that we're better than that, and we're determined to bounce back stronger.

I want to assure our fans that we're working hard to put things right. We have a talented squad, and we know that we can compete at the highest level. We just need to regroup, stay focused, and work hard to turn things around.

Once again, I apologize for our performance, and I want to thank our fans for their continued support. We know that you're the heartbeat of this club, and we'll do everything we can to make you proud.
