Why should they moan he's building them a nice new modern metro system , to feed more taxpayers money into the ever evolving , ever absorbing capitol
Meanwhile in Westminster today, Penny Mordaunt gives answers to the SNP, regarding their need to make £1billion of cuts, could this be similar to the Drakeford and the Senedd.
Ms Mordaunt went on: "The Scottish Government have complained this week that they are having to make £1bn of cuts, despite the fact that they have 26% more funding per head than England, and I just have some suggestions about how she might find that.
"She might cancel the £20million on a referendum that is not happening, or the £9m on the eight embassies they run. She could look at the £300m they have spent so far on two ferries, which are five years late and £150m over budget, or at the £52.4m on the collapsed BiFab company or the £5m on climate change reparations.
Was up there Saturday, amazingly busy, still lots and lots of money being spent there buildings going up, no seats available on train either stood all the way same as I did last time we went up, Mrs did have a seat though so not to bad I suppose.
Luckily we went to station earlier than we intended, cause they cancelled the train we intended to catch.

No judgement from me but any money I spend I'd much prefer to spend it locally , I feel no inclination to feed their economy, childish maybe but its how I feel . Catch 22 really , people moan about the lack of choice in town but when they keep shopping in cardiff then why would any entrepreneur take a chance on opening outlets here in Swansea

You make a decent point, but the facts are, that nearly all the decent shopping outlets in Swansea have closed and its very doubtful that any entrepreneur would invest in Swansea with the way things are, they'll come to Swansea assess the opportunities and say thanks but no thanks why do you think we have lost the stores we have lost.?
People go to Cardiff, Bristol and even Bath to shop and have a day out and have done as long as I can remember, its not as if they go every week.
There's little vision at Swansea Council with regards improvements in the Town itself, the market is the exception there of course and we luckily still have M&S, some nice quaint cafe's/ coffee shops, but little much else, unfortunately.

Both the Scottish & Welsh government's are carved from the same block of salt , easy to throw water on their management & policies to see it dissolve into a pool of stark reality .They're not very good at running their respective countries for the benefit for ALL its citizens

It all depends if the next first minister does his job correctly or not. Wales as a country are going backwards and getting left behind, we need to move forward in a modern world.
If the next first minister has the vision to carry this through he will get support if not he will be criticised and rightly so. Who can honestly say they are happy with the way the Senedd are currently dealing with the health and infrastructure issues as an example. The next leader needs step up and improve the whole of Wales, doing it differently in Wales is just not good enough.
I've been saying it for a long time, Politic's in the whole of the UK needs a complete overall I wouldn't trust anyone from any party who I'd trust with my vote, none seem credible to me, 90% are rich beyond their means so will never understand what the general public have to go through and this lot in "Power" now are totally clueless and more stress and hardship are on the way with Sunak and Hunt at the wheel.
In the grand scheme of things the likes of Drakeford are small fry in comparison, although I and many other's would love to know how much money was taken out of the public purse to fund his and his mates jolly to Qatar.

£13,000 of tax payers money for him and Gethin
You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

I’d imagine Gething will get the job & predict little will change.

Not sure being left right or centre has be anything to do with the criticism of Drakefords and his band of merry men and women , it's coming from all sides of the political spectrum . There can be nothing worse than supporting something so ineffective just because of the colour of the rosette regardless of the damage its doing to a nation .

The biggest scandal of all which all of you have missed is the assaults on NHS staff and how the trash. That do this either avoid jail or are not behind bars for long . We need to protect Fire Police Ambiwlans staff along with doctors and nurses . Mandatory prison for ten years .yep,10 years
My prediction? On the very day that he leaves the 'relief-road' issue or alternative for, will still be in a state of limbo with zero-progression.
Takes some doing that? Because it'll be a quarter of a century of Welsh Government.
"a quarter of a century" of wasteful incompetence from a bunch of trough feeding egotistical useless w*nkers.
Yes, I could be talking about the present incumbent Westminster government, but the saddest thing of all is, the Westminster government will more than likely be voted out at the next election, but Wales will still vote for the Clown known as Drakeford and his backward thinking Senedd members.

No stock market listed FTSE company would ever wish to bring him into their fold and to have him direct business, enterprise and innovation, because he would drown in the private sector!
