When you look who we had on the bench 3 years ago, all kids who are now playing in the lower leagues and now we have the likes of Djenepo it shows that we have moved on a bit in terms of the size and quality of our squad. Djenepo has given us some good games already this season and will be a decent impact player coming off the bench, two years ago it was Obafemi & N, lundulu

I've been having a lie down... Oh I don't know...he's full of running and enthusiasm and he has a fantastic attitude. I remain to be convinced of his footballing ability but maybe he deserves a new contract for his positivity. Going soft in Dorset...

Djenepo on 06:58 - Sep 15 with 1777 views | saintwizzler | Interesting one this. Djenepo and Redmond are very similar in terms of end product. Very tidy on the ball. Djenepo’s step overs seem to have won over the FIFA Video Game crew. Ultimately though Djenepo needs to step up to the plate. He’s done nothing since the goals v Sheff Utd & Brighton to show he’s a Premier League player. Signing a new contract means at least we won’t lose him in the summer for fûck all. See if he can produce this season or he’ll be off to pastures new. French League 1, Italian Serie A. I’d like to see him winning penalties as an attacker not the opposite in our penalty area. DJENEPO MARCHES ON WITH A NEW CONTRACT AND HOPEFULLY MORE GOALS AND ASSISTS BOLDLY AND BRAVELY

Djenepo on 11:06 - Sep 15 with 1627 views | SonicBoom | Odd player. Arrived with unpredictable flair which Ralph gradually trained out of him. Now he's had a few good games as a more disciplined wing back. He seems more consistent but I can't help missing the player I thought he was going to be.

The Obafemi who has done so well in the Championship that Swansea turned down numerous bids for him in the Summer? I guess Djenepo might do well in the Championship as well but I don't see a huge step up from Obafemi to Djenepo in terms of overall ability.

Obafemi has scored 13 goals in 39 appearances for Swansea. Djenepo has scored 3 in 63 for us. As you say, the step up in class is not glaringly obvious.
