I'd be surprised if he's troubled for much of the game, I hope he's brought a hot water bottle to sit holding tight

Match Thread: Hull City v Rochdale on 19:52 - Mar 2 with 2843 views | SaxonDale | Don’t actually think we’ve been too bad. Look solid defensively with O’Connell being our best player so far (probably proving he should’ve been played in this role earlier in the season!) Think we’ve had a few decent openings and the final pass has just let us down- Shaunessy had a great chance to release Newby had his pass been better. Expect the new lad/ Baah to come on and the game to open up more after 60 or so minutes.

| Possession with progression. |

Match Thread: Hull City v Rochdale on 19:54 - Mar 2 with 2781 views | funkkk | No issue we’ve how we approached the first half, we’ve definitely looked more solid at the back and EOC has us a good game. If it wasn’t for the goalkeeping error we’d probably be going in on level terms. Problem now is how the hell do we get back into the game? Hull commentators have just said it would be a miracle if we score which is hard to argue with. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Frustrating we haven’t looked to change to a similar set-up before tonight rather than persisting with non-forwards up front. Also annoying is the space Keohane is getting but not trusting his left foot to get early crosses in. Would swap for Done in 10-15 mins.

Wash your mouth out young man. No praise allowed until 2 sets of sandwiches wrapped in road maps have been handed out. Just remember if by some stroke of fortune we win or draw comfortably. It can only be classed as papering over the cracks

Yes, Keohane’s been well placed a few times, very frustrating.

Think we have to realise that on here, in the main, assessments are very honest and based on what we are seeing. Overreactions are minimal and often addressed, plus if they’re occurring elsewhere that’s nothing we can control. We don’t want to fall into the trap where we are thinking there’s been much in here that’s been unfair, because that really isn’t the case.

Seen a tweet mentioning about papering over the cracks and also that the results against Plymouth and Wigan had done the same. Anyway on a more serious note seen 'managed relegation' mentioned wasn't that term first used when Hill was in charge?
