Hoos in the paper today 12:16 - Jun 20 with 7220 views | TeddRanger | Interesting interview with Lee Hoos in the Times today. Twp particular things of note. We WILL have piped noise at the ground today "QPR chant specific"Hoos said. Hopefully that will lift our players. Also, contingency plans are in place for social distancing at LR next season .3,700 fans in the ground. But which 3,700?

Of course it is. Even if you had 2 empty seats either side of you someone in front of you or behind you would be closed than 1m
| I know almost nothing about the Premier League even though I try to catch the big games every now and then at the end of the season. But I will say this, Queens Park Rangers is just a fukking sick ass team name. Just sounds so cool. |

This whole social distancing thing has gone from a sensible and much needed strategy to initially try and control the spread of an unknown deadly virus into a corporate arse covering exercise. You have got pubs and restaurants management tearing out their hair trying to understand whether it is financially viable to reopen with decreased customers in the short term and keep staff on furlough as long as possible only to find that the government is allowing weekends of mass demonstrating and other mass gatherings without immediate dispersal. You then have pictures of Boris and Macron standing in a group outside Westminster watching the fly past by the Red Arrows whilst all around them there is clearly no 2 metre social distancing going on. You also have the Reading 3 mourners huddled together outside the school where one of the guys taught with a WPC stood in the middle of the crowd during the 2min silence. You have my local Sainsbury controlling the numbers coming through the doors but then you have people just willfully ignoring the protocols once they are inside and get the arse if you mention it to them - especially those who simply budge passed you as if you are not there whilst you were patiently waiting for the person in front of you to what they need from the shelf you want to get to. Those of us who were left trying to observe the social distancing are now just given scornful looks if you say anything as if you are a nutter. If the government do agree to reduce 2m to 1m then as far as I am concerned let's just stop beating around the bush and say "fk it - back to business as usual" and let's hope the money being invested in to already mass producing the Oxford vaccine is not a waste of money and we can get a jab before it comes back again in the winter.
