There'll be another "black hole" to fill with that bad boy.

Yes but that is mostly taken up in premiership wages for the likes of Ayewx2, Borja, Carroll, Montero, Naughton, Nordfelt, Mulder. When these go it will be of help as will making other cuts..

5m less than last year.

Taking into account the wages off the books, money in for James and Potter.

We are in a very good financial position.

Obviously we need to clear the Ayews and Baston but the desperation in getting a good fee is not such a big deal......wages are the bigger priority.

That money works out about 650,000 a week, divide that by say a squad of 30 and that works out at about 20k a week on the average....I repeat AVERAGE wage.

Get the Ayews and Baston gone and I see no issues to worry, we can surely push on in a positive direction.

Players will want to leave but there is no excuse to back the manager with the money from those sales.

Whatever we receive for them, if anything, will be taken up in us paying off their contracts.

I would say that should be covered in the transfer fee we receive?

You dafties, all money will be siphoned off for the hedge fund lot, and to pay for Wayne Rooneys wages.

It is definitely true because I've read it on this site

And it's all your fault because none of you protested or filled in the owners

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

Andre Ayew has 2 years left @ £80K a week, that's £8M approx

Baston has 1 year left @ £50K a week, that's £2.5M approx

Jordan Ayew has 1 year left @ £25/30K a week, that's £1.5M approx

That's a lot of transfer money that nobody's looking to pay with their history. I wouldn't be surprised if Birch doesn't try to pay them off, or it's back out on loan and more wages for us to subsidise.

We may as well keep all of them, Baston and Jordan at least. If we wanted to sign a player of their quality it would cost a lot more than £2.5m and £1.5m

That is their wages, we dont pay that unless we end up negotiating paying a % with the buying club.

Say we end up paying 75%, that is very unlikely then we would be looking at getting about 6m for Andre, 1.8m for Baston and about 1.2m for Jordan....all are appx.
So worse case we should be looking for a combined 9m for the 3. All three should bring far more than the total mentioned but I would say we would be glad to see 9m just to get them off the wages and cover fees owed.

People will argue we will still owe their clubs, initial payments will be made, the rest is paid in installments over appearances, goals and achievements.......would say that with those three, we need not worry to much there.

We dont want to pay the wages so need them gone.

The Ayews will never play for us again, they made that clear when they returned from a few pre season games last year, refused to turn up for training.

We should have been able 2 terminate their contracts due to non performance.

Well it is quite clearly not, losing the wages and covering the costs is priority over getting the best fee we can possible for them.

It is not rocket science!!!!!

Banging my head.

Read back and said out loudly......was I meant to get something there.

I will state again, wages off the book and obviously lose the Ayews and Baston and we are in a very good financial position.

Things have to be covered in that but 12months down the line is 12 months off knocked off their contract.
