Looks like it’s back to the back five. Surprised Ebanks-Landell isn’t ahead of any of the other three but probably signed a bit late to train for long enough with them.

Match thread: Peterborough away on 15:48 - Jan 12 by DaleFan7 | Sounded like a decent finish from Tomlin. The positive to take out of the first half is, once we conceded panic doesn't seem to have set in and the floodgates haven't opened. Something that has been an occurrence in our poor run of form. |
It was a decent finish but the guy was left in an acre of space down the left hand side. He ran in unchallenged and slotted it away. They deserve to be in front as we have not offered anything upfront other than an early chance from Hendo Double substitution by Hill at Half time with Andrew and Ladell on

End to end now, One of their players just waltzed past our entire team and hit the inside of the post. We are attacking more but leaving gps at the back. Hard o see it finishing 1-0 Still 5 at the back. Of the new guys Hamilton & Holden certainly involved. Too early to tell if EEL is a good one. Dooley has woken up this half. They are still deserving of the lead and seem to be stepping up their attacking as I am writing

Thanks - we have no choice but to go for it now with 25' left. We are currently sitting 18th having played a game more, but any of the teams sitting 19-22 could go above us with a win since all have better GD. Unlikely they would all go above us with the game in hand, but 22nd doesn't bear thinking about. Edit: After Oxford scored, as it stands only Wimbledon can't leapfrog us with 3 points from their game in hand ………….. gulp [Post edited 12 Jan 2019 16:35]

Yep......and draws are soon not going to be enough to get us to 51 points. Owt will do today though.
Match thread: Peterborough away on 16:38 - Jan 12 with 3000 views | NDGN82 | Would having a striker at the club help?? I don't count Wilbraham & Andrew, and Hendo is more of an attacking midfielder/forward than an out and out striker/goalscorer Regardless of our defence being pathetic in recent weeks, scoring goals puts more pressure on the other team - something we're unable to do One shot on target so far today. Not good [Post edited 12 Jan 2019 16:40]

Inman just had a brilliant chance & produces a great save from the keeper. Should really be 1-1 though. They are also looking difference In answer to your question, the lack of a finisher is quite clear. All 3 of the new boys are looking up to match fitness and are all involved and doing better than some of those they have replaced in the team. Andrew is playing well. However we are just not good in front of goal

Too early to worry about other teams I would've thought. As it is we'll need 6 wins and a few draws to stay up. Not easy but not completely impossible. Really need to find some home form from somewhere though. Can't see us getting much away at Barnsley and Luton.

And then they immediately go and score with a clinical finish, again emphasising the difference between a team who can finish and a team that cant. We have played well this half but cant put anything away ( is it about 350 minutes now in the league)
