That will be £42m please. FFP cleared. Job done!

Except, as I've pointed out before this case is actually SWF v Ealing Council, not QPR!

thats becuase they were agueing against the Coucnil's decision to long lease the land and grant planning permission, not the training ground per se.

Now we just have to hope QPR are not stupid enough to try and vry the planning permission, otherwise this could sart all over again!

Why stop now, just when I'm hating it

Interesting that there is nothing on the official site. Or are they waiting for the Barnsley site to be updated first
Hopefully it's quiet because Lee Hoos and Uncle Tony are down B&Q picking out their shovels

Happy Halloween!!!

Great news. Still more to be done but this is a massive hurdle out of the way and now we can progress. Maybe we can sing to Brentford fans in a few weeks "We're getting our training ground"!

From the Forum;

"I'd have thought charging a sensible commercial rate to utilise public land for private use would have swelled the Town Hall's coffers at a time of such financial hardship for local authorities.

I'm not convinced that we will see the benefit of the 'millions of pounds' the football club is allegedly pumping into sports facilities for public use on the site. I've asked for details from the Council on this but there has been nothing forthcoming."
