Not sure if the club still auction off the match shirts end of season, but it someone has a contact at the club would it be possible to get Joes shirt signed by the team from Saturday, framed up and auctioned for cancer research.
Not sure if the squad are on holiday now so maybe not possible, but even if only Joe signs it I would bid. |  |

On the assumption that Thompson isn't doing something with it himself, it cannot be sold at any price. It's part of the club's history - arguably the greatest individual story in the history of the club, and should therefore be put on display at the ground - whether that be in the Dale Bar or in the Main Lounge. It cannot be just hidden away at the home of whoever can bid the most for it. |  | | |

I am sure he could sign another one that he as worn, May not be worth quite as much at the match winning shirt but I am sure it would fetch a decent amount on behalf of a cancer research. I would also bid so that's at least 2 of us !! |  | | |
