I feel like I did when I found out that Ben Johnson had cheated in winning the Olympic 100m gold medal. All the exhiliration and excitement in seeing the race had all been based on a falsehood...I felt cheated! We've all waited so long for a season like this and the realistic prospect of a return to the top flight, and now this. As Clive has said, the team won't even know whether 100 pts will get us promoted. Where does that leave us? How are we going to get worked up for Saturday, when it could all be for nothing? The club just can't go opn like nothing's happened and wait for the hearing. Anyway, please help me and raise my spirits. Why should I bother going on Saturday? |  |
