Week 6 Results NEWCASTLE 2 STOKE 1 Newcasatle have won three of their opening five Premier League games, for the first time since 2000-01. There was a big 7 who got this spot-on, and 7 also had the outcome. IPSWICH 2 BOLTON 0 Bolton are still without a win in the league, after this latest defeat. The late Ipswich second goal was good news for the massive 8 who had this spot-on, in what was the weeks most predicted result, and a further 11 got the outcome. PORTSMOUTH 4 FLEETWOOD 1 Portsmouth thrash a Fleetwood side that ended with 10 men. Nobody got this spot-on, but a big 18 did have the outcome. This is the fourth 4-1 we have had this season so far, with only five 1-0's beating it as the result we have had most of. CARLISLE 1 BARNET 1 A late equaliser for Carlisle, but it is now five league games without a win for them. Incredibly this is the second week running the popular 1-1 has failed to have any 3 pointers, and just 2 got the outcome. There were 15 who predicted an end to Carlisle's winless run. CRAWLEY 0 NOTTS COUNTY 1 County recorded their fourth successive victory with this narrow win. Well done to gsy163 for being the only one to get this spot-on, and another 11 had the outcome. PORT VALE 1 FOREST GREEN 1 After six defeats in a row, and no goals in the last five games, Port Vale have to settle for a point after taking the lead. At least Forest Green got their first away point of the season, which is more than you can say about another certain team in League 2. There were 2 who had this spot-on, and nobody got the outcome. There were 19 who predicted a win for Port Vale. That is more like it, as we have our best six game week of the season so far. It could have been an even better week, but the 1-1 has not been a popular prediction, like in previous seasons. It was a bit of a hit or miss week though, as fifteen of the weeks eighteen 3 pointers came from the wins for Newcastle and Ipswich. By having both of those wins spot-on, and getting 3 points for the Port Vale 1-1, and one other outcome, durham_exile comes back to form in a big way, and is this weeks top scorer, with an excellent 10 points. There were two others to benefit by getting those wins for Newcastle and Ipswich spot-on, they were concordman, on his way to a very good 8 points, and burnsieespana, to give him a decent 7 points. A special mention for gerry_us, as he is the first person, for what I think is a number of years, to get all six outcomes correct, with just the Port Vale 1-1 spot-on, but still a very good 8 points for his efforts. In the Premier, not such a good week for mfb_cufc, and he has his lead reduced to just a single point, as the pack take advantage. It still early days, but with just 3 points separating the top five, this has the makings of an exiting season ahead for the title. At the bottom, still no 3 pointers for jonestones this season, but he moves off the bottom, as he takes advantage of the unfortunate Colukev, who continues to have problems with his internet connection. In Division One, another decent week for concordman, enables him claim the top spot outright. After his unique week, the revitalised gerry_us reclaims the other automatic spot, he last held after Week 2. The big mover in this league is durham_exile, with his top scoring week taking him up four places, and right into the play-off mix. After a promising start to the season, the TheHappyGooner amalgamation continues to struggle, and they drop out of the play-off spots for the first time.
