Modou Barrow starting tonight.

Already 2-1 Swans in just the first 24'. Goals from Jay Fulton (assisted by Gorre) and Owain Jones (assisted by Barrow).

Kenji Gorre with a brace - I'm hoping he'll get another first team shot in these final games.

Mind boggling why Monk sent Gorre out on loan. Was the perfect backup option for Monteiro which we sorely needed back then.

Gorre couldn't get in the Den Haag team, can't imagine him being close to ours.

Barrow hardly got a look in at championship level.

Will Barrow be involved over the weekend if he's playing today?

They're young and fit, so could prob do 2 games this week, especially as one is U21s.

He'd have been useful to them...

Just in case they need the centre circle pointing out to them.

Reckon they'd have known after kicking off at least 4 times.
Not even footballers are that thick

If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious.

Good entertaining game this evening.

A few notes from my viewing of it:

Vickers: No command of his area at all. Balls in the 6 yard box and he's glued to his line

Kingsley: After a sluggish start looked a cut above any other defender and did pretty well without particularly standing out too much.

The two Centre backs: Very ordinary. Never going to reach first team level.

Fulton: Fairly anonymous for the most part. A couple of terrible balls which put us in trouble.

Barrow: Playing at half pace. Neat back heel for one of the goals but just going through the motions.

Gorre: Looked fairly dangerous on the ball but for me he doesn't look to have the attitude or desire to be pushing for a first team squad place which at where he should be in his development, is pretty disappointing.

Jones: Best player on the park. Superb individual goal and a few other bits of class. Got a very decent turn of pace about him as well.

What did you think of Daniel James when he came on?
You also didn't mention King at all, did he have a poor game?

King would have been a 6 out of 10. Nothing special but certainly no worse than Fulton.

Daniel James looked lively. Very direct but ran into trouble a little too often.

And Joe Rodon (centre back) looked decent, agreed he's a long way from the first team though but will progress and at 18, I'm sure the coaches are happy with what they are seeing.
Plenty of pace shown out there tonight, that's one thing you can't teach

Thought Jones was superb. The lad didn't win much in the air, but didn't stop running at them & was very direct - he put himself about as well. I assume he is Welsh with a name like Owain Jones, but is he a Jack? At £1 per person (with season ticket) & during holiday time I was very surprised there wasn't a bigger crowd cos it was very entertaining (Kenji missed a penalty & both teams hit the woodwork).

So a pretty average swans very reserve side put five on Newcastle, I would be interested in how much eaxh player cost to sign.

........Derby are top.......Villa 2nd.........Arsenal 3rd!

Sunderland top of 1st division
.......who'd have thought that😉

Just watched the highlights. At least the kids still know how to counter at pace.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
