Hope it happens to be honest. Hopefully the play off final will be Derby vs Brighton and ohhhhh Bobby Zamora gets a last minute winner.

It's written in the stars 👍👍.

The director of football role is specifically there to stop people doing what harry redknapp does more than anybody else - short termism, dodgy transfers, over paying for players, use of favoured agents, no focus on youth, signing players with no long term strategy or resale value, compromising the financial health of the club etc etc etc.

Maybe they can appoint Ian Huntley as academy manager? Or the ghost of Harold Shipman as club doctor.

He did the role at Portsmouth which turned out well.

They must thinking about promotion this year though surely?
They must be thinking back to when Harry "out thought " them in the final

If they don't get up this year they'll be tied up with an embargo next, and H likes to spend
Doesn't make any sense

This is an unbelievable story. Was just saying at the weekend that he must be unemployable these days, and here he is, maybe back again, to totally fk up yet another club. Totally baffling.

Bare bones.

I notice the BBC article about it mentions his greatest hits: FA cup with Portsmouth, Spurs to their first Champions League performance etc but doesn't mention how he loves to spend other people's money on crocked players.

Think I would have preferred to appoint Louise Redknapp. Hopefully he'll convince them to get the job full time for next season so that we can at last see his fabled 3-5-2 formation. And that will be Derby stuffed for FFP. Now what remnants have we got left in the cupboard that we can tempt 'Arry to sign?

I'd be looking to punt Messrs Sandro, Fer and Caulker. Buy one, get the other two feckers for free.

Remember, this is a team who aren't interested in promotion this season, only in playing 'the derby way'. Ergo, Hoddle/Redknapp is the derby way. Of course it is. Makes complete sense. What a joy it is to see a rival take over the mantle of basket case. In the words of Mortimer Duke, wonderful news, wonderful news indeed.
