Never been to Gigglane.com before, but thought I would have a look out of curiosities sake.

Read this comment:

"SD should start by sitting DF down and telling him to drop the egotism and the stupid synergy speak and get back to basics" ......... which the commenter then qualified as "round pegs in round holes".

Seems like a case of monkey see, monkey do and the BS has cascaded into fanspeak now. Session on Gigglane.com terminated.

We played Swindon 16th Aug and Crewe 26th Jan. So is it the other way around? Or is your anecdotal feedback going back 6 months?!

Interesting comments though...

Apparently it was a Crewe v Port Vale video. Bury failed to beat Vale in December but Crewe had seen them off in January, so a video had been made in preparation of Bury's game against Crewe a couple of days later. Allegedly, Flitcroft referred to Crewe as Swindon throughout his briefing.

I thought this job was just the ticket for Flicker, but all this criticism isn't 'fare'.

I really think this thread should be renamed "The Bucket List".

No sympathy for Flitcroft, as he was happy taking the money and in many cases squandering it, on at best average players, and for much of the time not being good enough to manage and or coach the players he has assembled. And it's all his team, not had to rely on players already there. Of course he will have done well if promotion is achieved , otherwise he would have failed.

He has used all this money either in the full knowledge of the financial situation, in which case he is equally to blame for the situation or he is extremely thick and or ignorant.

Looking at it, I'd say many of them are beginning to realise what only a few suspected years ago. One of them over there described Day quite well and I think it's not far off the mark...and this isn't verbatim. Stewart Day has underestimated the cost and lack of crowd increase from going up. I actually don't think he is intentionally trying to 'sell the ground'. But it is a useful 'safety net' if things on the 'five year plan' go wrong. Of course we have been saying this for years, to some bury fans ridicule. It still may take even longer for this to fully unravel, but this could be the start of a massive fall from grace.

Ey up heysides,

Feel for you and some of you unblinkered mates...

The rest deserve what they get the enjoyment wearing thin "on the ride"

BL9 beggars belief but sums up your esteemed leader perfectly.

Ripping off innocents to fund his subbuteo set is poor form...VERY poor form.

Quicker you get shut the better Walter Mitty is a chancer of the highest order.
