I think you make a good point, it seems a bit like bully boy tactics. Vote this through or we go bust. But this will mean that all the existing shareholders now become useless and have no voice. Basically he is selling a club which owns a £6m asset to these people for £2m. Sounds like a good deal for the Chairman and the Americans but a bad deal for the club, the supporters and the shareholders. I would ask all shareholders to think long and hard before they vote ..WHEN ITS GONE ITS GONE! |
| Forum Thread | So what happens now? at 18:47 2 Jun 2021
We all agree last night was a pivotal moment. We have got rid of the pantomime clown and his accomplice, the chairman obviously has no bottle throwing a sicky for both the fans forum and the EGM, yet he has beeni well enough to discuss selling the club for the last four months, so who is going to run the club now. I have heard nothing about where we go from here, suggestions on a postcard to the club please as no one there has a clue. |
| Forum Reply | How much would you care if bury fc went out of existence at 09:50 27 Jul 2019
It would be an absolute tragedy if Bury went out of business and lost their league status. It is obvious that the club has been run badly for a number of years, but all that mismanagement has been by people who have had no idea how to run a football club, and we have seen it happen at so many clubs over the years, and it is us the fans that pay the ultimate price. We have been very lucky here at Rochdale with Fred Ratcliffe, then David Kilpatrick and Chris Dunphy that have all managed the club well and developed it for no personal gain or some sort of vanity project. People that loved the club and not the kudos of the position However we must remember that it doesn’t take long to cock things up. We should be really thinking we could be in their position but for good fortune..I have no great love for Bury but I have enormous respect for dedicated football fans.....whichever club they support. We could be there one day. |

I think you have got that one wrong, I actually saw him in the Regal Moon last night talking to Moggy and another guy at about 9pm. |

That’s not right, I am told the five year contract was for PR and it is a twelve months rolling contract, which is common to most football clubs. They just need to pay 12 months wages to get rid, and could even pay him weekly, it would be just like having a player on the books that never plays and we have got loads of them! But sure as hell, KH will not walk away from the club and give up his wages. |

Excellent piece Judd, thank you for giving us an unsight to your daily dulies. You are clerely very impotent to the club and I am amazed the club as survived so long without you. It’s niece o see you are a family man even though your family is split up accros the country. You are a very very important person , and you will soon deliver us football at the next level. |

I'm not too sure but I think Lundy is out for two games having picked up 10 yellows this season |

Smacks of insanity to me. Totally devalues the product though I suppose you could argue that you couldn't devalue an Oldham match much further! Didn't they do something stupid with season tickets last season. Bless. |
| Forum Thread | Oldham doing a bury at 21:16 12 Nov 2016
There was a rumour going around today that Oldham Athletic have failed to pay Rochdale for tickets they sold for the recent game and they are just one of several debters chasing the club. I reckon they should ask bury if they have any buckets to spare. |

Yes he was good as usual but didn't tell us anything we didn't know but it's obvious that these stadium negotiations are really p!ssing him off. What he didn't or wouldn't say was almost deafening |

I make that 20 this season if you include the cup. 7 in the last 9 games. Surely that's a record for Dale? |

He was having a good night. I saw him in the Baum not long after the game and wanted to wish him well but couldn't get near as everyone had the same idea. |

Very pleased with performance and result and proud to be part of team Rochdale again. For me you could feel the excitement in the ground before kick off I thought support was brilliant I saw Dunphy outside after the game he looks 10 years younger than he did at Daggers last season |

Squad more or less in position and future looking bright. We might not be in the championship or premiership but hey we can still be proud of what we've got compared with our neighbours Macclesfield Halifax Stockport Wrexham all gone from league football, bury not looking good, Oldham struggling financially along with Bolton. Blackburn, Man Utd, Man City, and Liverpool owned by foreigners and in debt to them Have I forgotten anyone? Oh yes Accrington Stanley. ENough said then It's pretty good being a Dale fan right now Up the Dalee |
