Do we plan to bring match day programmes back for the new season? |

Where are Wigan getting their money from, or is it the never never again? Rumoured to be paying Wyke 10k a week?? [Post edited 9 Jul 2021 19:47]

Agree the overall perspective should not be forgotten, and I dont think it will be lost on the players and coaching staff. At approx 4.47pm, at 3-2 up, in the live table we was 19th. They have now set the standard for the remainder of the season, and we as supporters should demand they now play at the same intensity and drive in every game. After the insipid displays of the last few months, I really enjoyed todays game. If we can get Ryan and Lund fit asap, we definitely have a fighting chance. Peterborough are a very good league 1 side. They was a constant threat on the break in the 2nd half, and I thought we defended quite well. It just sums us up. that I always thought we could get back into the game, but as soon as we go 3-2, you just know we are likely to concede, even with 3 minutes left to play. |

Agree. We need Rathbones energy in the middle. Midfield was non existent in the first half. Not sure we can take any positives from the game. Ok we was better second half, but we cannot afford to be so far off the pace for 45 minutes and expect to get anything from the game. |

We have been better second half. We’ve not been great, but at least we’ve competed. First half Blackpool completely dominated and we was lucky to be only one down. Second half we’ve been better, albeit we haven’t created many chances. |

The other semi final is yet to be played Grimsby vs Huddersfield or Walsall |

Keohane just needed to play the ball down the wing. We was under pressure in the last 10 minutes and he should have played the ball long into space. Yes we had lots of possession, but Wimbledon sat deep and was content to contain us. They only showed any intent in the last 20 minutes. You could say it was the perfect away performance, but the way we are performing at the moment, if Wimbledon has attacked from the start they would probably have won more convincingly. |

Really enjoyed that half. We’ve dominated the midfield. Rathbone has been superb so far. 2 bits of quality from Gooch on their left. Apart from that we’ve played all the football. |

Great performance, really enjoyed watching it today. Lund was outstanding, some class touches. Our midfielders won a lot of 2nd balls, looked really sharp. I thought our lack of options from the bench was going to cost us. Fleetwood were able to bring on players who influenced an improvement, then up steps our super sub. |

I’ve approx 250-300 Rochdale programmes from the period 97-98 to 16-17. Vast majority are home programmes and a few away, If you are interested in taking them for free please let me know. |

I am delighted for Luke that he has signed for a top division team, however its a shame that we dont get to see our players develop in our first team and play regularly over a longer period of time. In the late 80's and early 90's I was jealous of how many young players Crewe brought through into their first team, from the youth team and players signed from local non league. To compare Matheson (16 games) and Daniel Adshead (11 games), some of Crewe's 80's/90's young stars: David Platt played 134 times for Crewe - 56 goals Craig Hignett 121 - 42 goals Danny Murphy 132 - 27 goals I know this is nothing new for us. Stephen Bywater didnt even play a league game for us! Still, its a shame when we lose our players so young and dont get to see a bigger part of their journey to the top...... |

I now dislike the plastic clubs the most, who throw money at 'projects' (a term I hate, and seems to be used all the time by owners and managers these days). Bolton will always be a bigger club than us. OK they got caught up in the Premier league circus and gambled too much but from our perspective they are not a threat to the balance of power in our region. Clubs like Salford City who appear from nowhere and can out bid and out spend us. I dislike everything about them. No league tradition, history and bandwagon supporters. |

Underwhelming? According to BBM there was a lot of interest in him. I think it is fantastic that young players see us as an attractive club. Long may it continue. |

I was more disappointed when he signed for Southend at the start of the season, presuming that we was interested in having him back. |

He was on loan at Wrexham last season before he came to us. I think another conference club could be his next move. Opportunity to now bring him someone who will contribute more to the team. |

I gave up on Pyke after last Mondays game. He offers nothing. Get rid. |

Good first half. Both full backs getting forward and we are zipping the ball about. Boston, similar to the first game, look a threat but we've defended well so far. Henderson injury was a heavy 50/50 challenge. Hopefully nothing serious. [Post edited 16 Dec 2019 20:26]

Due to the conditions we are playing more direct tonight. Good opportunity for Pyke, haven't been impressed with him so far this season. Could do with a contribution from him here. |
