| Forum Thread | Exiles Day at 19:43 3 Jan 2023
We are now open for bookings for our popular annual Exiles Day which will take place on 4 March 2023 when Dale play Stevenage. It’s an event that is for Trust members only so everyone who attends will need to be a member. Sign up with this link if you’ve forgotten to join. https://www.daletrust.co.uk/adult-exile-membership/ We hope that the early part of 2023 will bring better results than of late so that not only do we rise up the table but also that we retain our remarkable unbeaten home run for Exiles Days. In recognition of the tremendous support given by Exiles to the club over the years, the Trust is subsidising ticket prices which means that you will pay less than last year. What’s not to like? Your ticket will get you a place to watch the match from one of the executive boxes, a pre-match buffet and a number of pre-match visits from management, directors and players as well as a stadium tour. There will also be a raffle for a Dale shirt. We are hoping to get a former player along given the success of Willie Burns’ guest appearance last year. The Trust is sponsoring the matchball so there will be plenty of Trust members milling around the hospitality areas which will make for a great atmosphere. Exiles will also choose the Man of the Match. It’s always a brilliant day out. Full details will be announced in due course and we expect to get underway at 12.30pm. With many Exiles also being Season Card holders, we have two prices — one for Season Card holders, and one for those who aren’t. We are limited to 40 places for this event and with well over 300 Exiles on the Trust membership list we expect to sell out. We will set a deadline for ticket sales once we have finalised arrangements and we will keep everyone up to date with our plans. But the message is clear — don’t delay. To secure your place, please fill out the form below. Notes * Places are strictly limited to Dale Trust members only * Concessions are Seniors (65+), Young Person (12-21) and Junior (U12) https://www.daletrust.co.uk/2023/01/exiles-day-2023/ |

We have emailed all Trust members with a ballot form regarding this month's EGM with an explanation with regards to what each proposal is. Members have until Sunday 26th June at 7pm to vote. As always, we have not urged members to vote in any particular way in the ballot, and the Trust will vote in accordance with the wishes of the membership and always will do. The Trust is the largest recognised shareholder in the Football Club and it is important to us that as a members' organisation that we follow the mandate given to us by our members. Any Trust member who has not received the email with the link to the voting slip should check their spam folder, and if it is still not there (give it a couple of hours to turn up), drop us an email to info@daletrust.co.uk and we'll get it posted out to you. Voting is open to all Adult and Exile Trust members who signed up for the 2021-22 season. |

| Forum Thread | Completing the 92 at 12:44 27 Feb 2022
We want to register a donation from a supporter of every team in the English football system and we want your help to achieve that. As thing stand, we have raised approximately £37,500 for the legal defence against Morton House, with £26,312 coming through the crowdjustice site at http://upthedalenotforsale.co.uk. Many of those donations have come from supporters of other teams with fans from over thirty different sides represented. We want to make this 92 with at least one donation from a supporter of every club in the EFL and Premier League. And this is where you come in as Dale fans. We want you to use social media, Club forumsyou’re your own personal contacts to get a minimum of one supporter from each club donating. Please ask them to leave details of which team they support. Of course, we are not restricting this to the EFL. We’ve already received a donation from Borussia Dortmund, so let’s push for donations from the big teams around the world, and lets go for the most obscure teams too. It would be great to see donations from Barcelona alongside those from Macarthur FC. You can view our interactive world map showing the teams who’s supporters have donated by going to https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=19Nm9UH8TGyrX971JdpEneWZqUV3qVv7h& We will update this map on a regular basis. So far, we have received donations from the following: Premier League Arsenal Brighton Burnley Chelsea Crystal Palace Everton Leeds united Liverpool Manchester City Southampton Championship Blackburn rovers Bristol city Derby County Huddersfield Town Millwall Nottingham Forest Peterborough United League One Cambridge Charlton Shrewsbury town Sunderland League Two Bristol rovers Carlisle United Colchester United Harrogate Town Leyton orient Northampton Town Oldham Port vale Rochdale AFC Swindon Town Others Borussia Dortmund Bury FC United of Manchester https://www.daletrust.co.uk/2022/02/raise-funds-by-completing-the-92/ http://upthedalenotforsale.co.uk [Post edited 27 Feb 2022 12:47]

| Forum Thread | Thank you at 18:21 14 Feb 2022
Just a big thank you to everyone who contributed to Saturday's matchday collection. We took in a massive £1,521.46 which to surpassed expectations doesn't do it justice. https://www.daletrust.co.uk/2022/02/saturdays-donations-brings-in-1500/ We were hoping that people would be rooting down the side of the couch and bringing in loose change but it was pretty humbling to be honest seeing people coming up and dropping off notes. Every donation was very much appreciated. As we say in the piece, we'll be there for most if not all games for the rest of the season, but we could not and do not expect to see such generosity at every game. Thanks again to all donors and the volunteers who helped bring the money in. |

We have received an email from Matthew Southall with a statement from Morton House this afternoon that was being circulated to both local and national media. As you'd expect, we have passed this on to our legal team and we are not planning on making any comment at this moment in time. [Post edited 2 Feb 2022 19:47]

https://www.daletrust.co.uk/2022/01/use-to-easyfundraising-to-boost-crowdfunding With the Trust seeking funds to help defend the legal case from Morton House, you can now raise money towards that using Easyfundraising. Since our partnership with Easyfundraising began, we have raised over £5,000 through Dale supporters doing their online shopping using Easyfundraising as their starting point. So with the Trust looking for donations to support the legal defence against Morton House, you can now support this through Easyfundraising. Our current total stands at £5,145.23 but from now on, every penny over that £5,000 total will go directly towards the legal defence against Morton House. This in itself means that we can add another £145.23 to the total. But this is when you come in, whether you are a Trust member or not. All we want from you is to visit Easyfundraising before making any online purchase. Even better, download their browser plug in, and it will remind you if you are making any purchase from a website they partner with. They have hundreds of household names associated with them, and no one is asking you to make any purchase that you wouldn't ordinarily be making. It pretty much covers all online purchases from hundreds of well known companies. Getting any insurance comparison website and taking out cover will bring us £15 a time, holidays are big winners for us with the percentage that it generates, and even if you are getting a takeway, we make money from their tie in with JustEat. The beauty of this scheme is that it is the retailer who makes a donation back to us, and it does not cost you a penny more than it would have done in the first place. It literally is free money to us. To date, we have just over 300 Dale supporters who have registered with Easyfundraising, but with close to 1300 members, we are still looking at pushing members to sign up. To show just what can be achieved, five Dale supporters alone have contributed close to £3,000 towards that figure. Furthermore, Newport County - a similar sized club to our own - haved raised nearly £23,000 from 500 members. https://www.daletrust.co.uk/2022/01/use-to-easyfundraising-to-boost-crowdfunding |
