But surely some homework was done before we sacked Stockdale? Maybe we had no idea at all who’d apply …
I know people think Hill would be a nightmare - but he’s Red Adair for us
Let’s do it is my view.
The players look miserable under Jim, and at least they might look like they want to play football again under Hill
The stench of misery is crushing.
Screw it - let’s go out smiling, playing, having a go, and all guns blazing.
I’d prefer that, rather than we whimper our league history away. |

Two questions for me come to mind
Has the Trust ( or have they already) made a statement on the need for outside investment - and the seeming speed in shift from fan owed’ to must have outside investment. Can’t the Trusts board rep be asked to throw some light on this?
And getting down to brass tacks - given the money we are losing, how close are we to going into Administration? |

Don’t think he’s been quite the same since the penalty miss, the injury and then the break we had.
But do think he’ll come good. I thought the line up was good today - with Toums and Odoh rested. Surprised that Nelson didn’t start, and I’m not sure what Sinclair has done to never get a start.
For me we have to find a way of playing someone alongside Quiggs - and someone that’s not Hendo from the start
Maybe Campbell when he’s back - or Sinclair perhaps. Even when he does win it - we’re miles away from him |

Mr Bentley was fairly depressed in previous weeks by the teams efforts not representing him and his work ethics, and said something like either players go, or he will.
Pumped at home by a relegation rival - and I wonder where that leaves us
Quigley moved like he’d been in the pub for a fortnight - and I’m not sure I’ll live long enough to ever see an Odoh goal.

I think by the Stevenage post match interview - he knew.
The responses in it were such a p*ss take, it was like he was having a swipe at criticisms levelled at him and the team. Unfortunately for Robbie - we just haven’t been competitive.
I didn’t think we’ve have nothing from 4 - but I do think the fixtures have given us a pig of a start. 2 relegated sides, a promoted team and in Stevenage, a surprise early form team. A Carlisle, Crawley or Hartlepool early on would have been lovely - and might have seen him spared a bit longer, and got some confidence flowing.
As for the new man who knows - But I expect we’ll ask those we interview to give a presentation, and I have a suggested slide for all applicants - I PROMISE TO SIGN A LEFT BACK

I think so - woeful.
Rodders on his own - the other 2 in Tulloch and Henderson might as well not be there, those two are contributing nowt going forwards and don’t even help pack if out in the middle. Would love to know what he’s actually asked them 2 to do.
Great save before the corner and Nelson’s had a good half.
