Another player from when beer was tuppence a pint was centre forward Joe Cini. A Maltese international who sported a beard, very unusual then. Anyone remember him ?
Inducted into Forever Rs…he's called Micky these days. One of the first players I can remember. Sadly he was a bit of a target for boo boys. OK he wasn't a world beater but had gumption. Anyone else remember him - a lifetime ago admittedly.
