If I dont get my way and "buck the norm" can I claim discrimination"? Will there be a flood of bleeding heart liberals rushing to defend my honour, my culture (WTF is that) and fight my cause and case? As Amy said "No! No! No!" I'll just continue being the mindless minority then.

Christmas has come early for the Daily Mail on 17:07 - Dec 11 with 6172 views | gueRRilla | I guess we know now how all those Maori's in Australia and New Zealand feel, or the native tribes in South Africa, Rhodesia etc feel, or the Spanish in their seaside towns, or the Catholics in Northern Ireland, or the native Americans in both the U.S. and Canada. Immigration and emigration has been happening as long as there have been people. Like it or lump it, eventually races will intermingle and past "natives" will be little more than a historical footnote. Worth bearing in mind that there are huge white Irish and French populations in London as well. London is the 6th largest French city in the world didn't you know! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-18234930

And I'm in no way saying that anyone from Northern Ireland, Australia or anywhere else should be driven out of their homes! My point was that there are always waves of immigration and emigration and there will always continue to be so. I just find it moronic when people from the U.K. give out about immigration given our history of emigration, colonisation and empire. Not that I thought the OP was moaning about that in the first place!

Christmas has come early for the Daily Mail on 19:56 - Dec 11 with 6009 views | derbyhoop | Go to any major city and it is a cosmopolitan melting pot. I'm currently working in Dublin where my lunch companions are Irish, French, Spanish and Polish. It sounds like the opening line to a bad joke but it's true. There are plenty of Indians and Africans around as well. My parents were Irish born. In the 1950s they were greeted with signs saying "no blacks, no dogs, no Irish". This year 90,000 British were cheering a Somali refugee to 2 gold medals for Great Britain. Get used to the changes.

Good old bigoted me says we conquered and modernised the world. Did a lot of damage to though I grant you The unchecked immigration of this small wealthy island of ours is compounded by our policy of giving to all at the expense of ourselves We should put British people first. These are people who are trackable and culpable via NI numbers etc Maybe then we can focus on reducing the homegrown trash we have and shaping a better society First and biggest priority is the Lords team Queens Park Rangers FC grab a win!!!

Christmas has come early for the Daily Mail on 20:17 - Dec 11 with 5976 views | klr | I see it more of a western disease, many I suppose would call it an inevitable consequence of Colonisation. I guess I'm just a racist old bigot, but celebrating the wholesale import of other culture's & religions problems ? Nope, not for me. Many countries around the world have simply not gone down this road, China for instance does not have a single foreigner living in their country on full socialist welfare, Western countries have tens of millions of foreigners within them living on full socialist welfare, what is the benefit to the host country ? Denmark has the strictest anti Immigration laws in Europe yet one of the highest qualities of life in the World. Not against Immigration whatsoever, but this is something completely different, something destructive & frightening that no one wanted & no one voted for, this is a very very dark path that we have been led down. For those of you that think this ends happily ever after, then good luck to you, I wish I felt like that, I really do.

On what basis? The official statistics are wrong? There's plenty of Brits living in Spain, France and other EU countries. It's called freedom of movement between member states and is enshrined in the EU treaties stretching back to 1973.

It's an expanding society mate. They need somewhere to live? We build more houses which creates jobs. They pay taxes, we build schools, employ teachers, more jobs. The infrastructure is being strained? We expand it however that may be. The city will grow bigger, it is inevitable.
