I see this rather differently.
These two players aren't players who have mainly just had Academy experience.
They have performed well in the Championship and League 1 over a number of seasons.
Clubs like Brentford and Boscombe have done well by picking out some of the best players from those divisions, enabling them to comfortably stay up.
If the worst happens and we go back down, they would at the very least be very useful back in the Championship. |  |
