Love Lisa Stansfield, sad she has to be associated with the shambles we are witnessing.

Great article as ever

Snipper, did the same a couple of years back and joined the LTA and also have been successful in the ballot this year. Opted for the end of week 1 and have good centre court seats.

Worth noting that the priority booking for other tournaments opens soon. We had a nice day at Eastbourne last year (albeit a long way from here so it was a 3 night stay). Very good setting and we saw Boulter, Paolini and Radacanu. Definitely worth a day out at the coast.

Nice Disco and a welcome distraction from the football.

Early 80s was a confusing time for me musically. Started to develop my love for soul whilst at the same time enjoying the new wave/post punk era - Blondie, The Jam, The Clash as well as two tone. Hypnotised by Siouxie and the Banshees and respected Elvis Costello.

Recent playlist created includes Duchess, Hong Kong Garden, Watching the Detective and Picture This.

Story of the Blues by the Mighty Wah also features.

Ramble over...

Very good write up, particularly on Adomah which fairly balanced practical and sentiment

Wish him well. Been a good servant for the club and as others have said never went missing when the chips were down. Hopefully he'll get another club quickly.

New Kit Annoucment Due ??

Agreed re the sponsor, but as you say economics comes before moral values for football clubs (sadly).

As for the kit itself finding it hard to get excited about it one way or the other.

Leeds ticket threads

sat in the home end many times for different games/reasons and behave appropriately and there has never been a problem. That said sat in the Stretford end for the League Cup game where we lost 1-0 (Cerny had a very good game), memory fails me slightly but we came close to equalise late on (hit the post I think), I jumped up and quickly sat back down, nobody around me batted an eyelid...

Looks like Leeds have only been given School End Upper (and rightly so)

We probably need one win, or maybe a win and a draw. Would be good to get something towards that against Preston, but it will not be season defining if we don't.

So frustrating.
at 14:18 10 Apr 2024

It has been stressful at times, but perversely there has been a lot to enjoy in recent weeks. As ever with Rangers there have been low points and times when we've done it the hard way, but I look back at Leicester away and I cant remember a better away day for a long long time. I also look at the table against where I thought we would be last October and its nothing short of a miracle.

Hoping we turn up at Hull on Saturday.

If we can maintain our goal difference advantage its possible 2 draws will be enough. Would be nice if Cardiff could get a result tonight...

It was very poor, but there is no chance of any change for the remaining 4 games and on balance nor should there be.

Hopefully there will a goalkeeping gem in Denmark that Marti has his eye on for the Summer...

Swimming pool at Craven Cottage

Interesting a guy I know through work and is a Fulham season ticket holder with 3 seats and is quite well off was invited to see the stand and the facilities recently as a sales pitch. He was offered a package which included food and drink of £4k for a season ticket which he politely declined. Whilst he isn't short of a few quid, he has been going for over 50 years, first went with his old man etc and generally scratches his head at where some of the pricing has gone. I think one of the challenges they have is that corporate sales can be difficult as the unit cost of a ticket presents difficulties in industries such as Banking when inviting guests to a game due to the bribery act and the need for such "gifts" to be formally recorded.

I have friends with tickets at Leicester with similar food and drink facilities etc and they cost about £2k.

Been a few years since we went but really enjoyed it. As well as getting tips from on here I always find the Lonely Planet pocket guide books useful when visiting a new city.

The Rotherham keeper would be a good summer hire or maybe Marti has his eye on someone in Denmark...

Not bothered really, but for selfish geographic away day reasons I'd prefer Huddersfield and Wednesday stayed up with us.

Worried about tonight's game. To be honest if someone offered me 4 points from our next 3 games I'd probably take that (gulp)
