I would imagine the club has been "available" to buy the moment we were relegated. If someone meets the asking price the club will be sold. Pretty much like the majority of clubs in this league.
Irrespective of what happens at Leicester, Steve did a very good job at Swansea - supported by the brilliant Trevor Birch. Two play-off's in very difficult circumstances.
And his achievements at Forest in such a short period of time were quite incredible.
I wonder that if Swansea's budget has been reduced season-on-season then maybe we could never have afforded to bring him back in the first place.
Also Brighton would have wanted their players to go out on loan to clubs who could be challenging at the top. Maybe Brighton looked at Swansea and thought we would struggle....?
I sometimes wonder if we had gone down at the end of the 13/14 season - we may have been able to bounce back quite quickly. The squad was decent (we would have a lost few) but with the owners - they may have had the ability to get us back up quite quickly - mainly because of their experience.
Note the Q and A from KG that in late 2023 - the board's goal is to get back to the Premier League in May 2025. We need to go on long winning run..... (which is possible?)
Starmer visited the Liberty for a midweek game - possibly a League Cup tie well before Andy and Ken joined the club. From memory Starmer visited The Liberty in August 2022 while staying in Oxwich.
