I’d never seen it before two weeks and I’m on season 9 already. Last night I thought I was going to choke,no doubt most people on here won’t get it because let’s be honest most are just humourless pricks. I just love people that can take the piss out of themselves and just like this forum the world is full of uptight twáts. This is just genius.
The first ever recipient of a Planet Swans Lifetime Achievement Award.
But a couple of good mates, both with a cracking sense of humour otherwise, find it unfunny, not enough laughs, narcissistic and too much of a Jewish comedy.
No taste, those pricks.

Just about my top comedy series of all. Favourite episode: The one with Michael J Fox. What a trooper, Fox.
Only narrowly edged out by I'm Alan Partridge, first series.
There,said it.
I think season five with him doing the producers with David Schwimer , the build up to all that and his hilarious attempts to utilise a free sex pass (with any one woman he wanted) all ending in failure was classic tv.
Each time I go to Bedd - au........................

As much as I like the show I found I could only bear to watch one per sitting. I couldn't binge watch it as it started to irritate. Great in small doses.

I’ve done the same this lockdown, so far watched 3 series. Fantastic, but i loved Seinfield. Strangely when mentioning it to mates they look at you with total bemusement!

Possibly my favourite T.V. series ever, it was The Larry Sanders Show but Curb is like Sanders on steroids.
Love Funkhauser's filthy joke;
"A woman is very afraid of the size of her opening. So she goes to her mother, she says what am I going to do I’m so big down there when I marry Harry he’s going to divorce me. Her mother says don’t worry sweetheart it runs in the family, do what I did when I married your father. Go to the market, get some raw liver, put it in there he’ll never know the difference. So she does. They have eight hours of sex after their marriage. She wakes up at 10 o’clock, he’s gone but there’s a note on her pillow. It says -: “My darling Harriet. To think that I waited a year to consummate our loving relationship makes my heart beat so loudly I’m surprised it didn’t wake you up. The only reason I’m not here now darling is that I’m at work to make enough money to buy you a house, a picket fence, we’ll have dogs and children. When the 5 o’clock dinner bell rings I will be home like the winged Gossamer of love in your arms. Your loving husband, Harry. PS. Your c*nt is in the sink."
I think my favourite character is Jeff's wife Suzie though, inspired. Larry David is a comedy genius.

Watched it from the start. It’s been the best comedy to come out of America full stop. Larry David is the most self-deprecating comedian on tv. Superb!
